A sports injury can be described as just an injury you get while playing sports. A sports injury could be just a sprained ankle, hamstring pull, shin splints, acl tear and a groin pull. Of course there are a lot more types of sports injuries that can be specified but those are just some of the more common injuries, the most common injuries that occur in sports would be strains and sprains (Hoffman, 2005).
