City Council; Consists of five members, elected to 4-years term The governing core of South San Francisco is the city council, which creates municipal laws and the overall policy, decides how to expend treasury, assigns members to all consultative local businesses and represents the city officially. The city council`s members are Richard A. Garbarino as a mayor, Mark N. Addiego as a vice mayor, Pradeep Gupta, Karyl Matsumoto and Liza Normandy.
City Clerk; elected to 4-years term The city clerk is the curator of the city`s documents. The city clerk`s office is the channel between the local residents and the local government It is also the city clerk`s responsibility to provide the general public with any required information. The current city clerk of South San Francisco is Krista Martinelli.
City Treasurer; elected for a 4-year term The city treasurer is in charge of investing the city`s treasury to obtain the most profitable returns, coordinating any financial transactions and preparing property tax valuations. The current city treasurer of South San Francisco is Frank Risso.

The Genentech Goes to Town program provides employees with $25 daily for two weeks every day to spend at local businesses. The program has benefited over 250 businesses at South San Francisco community. Moreover, in a partnership with Genentech and BayBio, South San Francisco hosted the Biotechnology and Workforce Development Summit to encourage students to pursue their careers in Biotechnology. The summit also aimed to encourage local industries and academic institutions to cooperate to prepare students for bright careers in the biotech
If I was elected mayor I would do a lot of helpful things. For example, I would help out in schools. Like I would make the bathrooms more cleaner , more nice so people can actually use them, and then make them smell good. Then I would make the classroom twice as bigger than they actually are. So the teachers can make the students do actives with what they are learning with enough space, and it may help the students understand what they are learning better with the actives as well. And the science teachers can do more science experiences with the students without running out of room. So it can more fun for children to learn science and they can actually experience it as well.Then I would try my best

The City of Glendale is located in Southern California. According to the 2010 U.S. Census Bureau report, Glendale has approximately 191,719 inhabitants and a total area of approximately 30.5 square miles (City of Glendale 3). This “Jewel City” has a Council-Manger type of government. In a nation that advocates freedom of religion, this right does have its boundaries. While there are traces of religion in our government, such as the pledge of allegiance and on the dollar bills, it does not attempt to advocate any specific religion. In this case of a cross on City A’s City Hall, it can raise certain issues with the Establishment Clause.
If I were mayor of Sublette I would appoint a tough and reliable person as town fire chief and my assistant fire would be a trustworthy person that is liked throughout the community. I would also appoint a very organized person as my city secretary that I know that every demand will be taken care of and my city will not be in debt or have major problems. Likewise I would appoint a handy and helpful person as my city superintendent, the person who completes the maintenance needs around my town. The people that I assign to these roles will all be organized, some more than others, they will be kind to their peers in the community, as well as reliable and trustworthy.

Assume responsibility for various projects as assigned by the District Director and follow-up with Deputy District Directors, District Division Chiefs, Corridor Directors, Headquarters, and technical staff throughout the District. Mayor is defined as the highest-ranking official in a city or a town. We looked at them as the father of our municipal government who served us up to their utmost limit. We voted for them because we believe in their promises and what they stand for.
The city of Weslaco has operated under a Council-Manager form of government since its incorporation in 1928. Policy-making and legislative authority are vested in a city commission consisting of a Mayor and six Commissioners. The City Commission is responsible, among other things for enacting ordinances, adopting the budget, appointing committees, and hiring both the City Manager and City Attorney.
The Executive Director reports to the City Hall and provides a detail financial analysis of the KCCC year to date report. Once the council hears financial report, the Council votes on approval of a new budget for the fiscal year.
Alissa Torres the chief planner from the Orange County Office of Policy and Public involvement, whom I interviewed about pedestrian safety and Public Administration, but they are carried out and put into place on a city level. Locally the Orange County Traffic and Transportation Department is the one in charge of these and many other regulations. The current head is Hazem El-Assar Chief Engineer.
These services are delivered in response to citizen, property owner, and developer questions and applications. These services are conducted largely in the Current Planning program, which is staffed by two planners. The Planner II devotes about 80% and the Assistant Director devotes 60% of work time to these services. One long range planner (not in this program - in Long Range Planning) also conducts many of these reviews (about 40% of work time allocated). A second long range planner (not in this program) occasionally conducts casework (about 15% of work time). The Program also includes two full time Development Coordinators. These positions provide full time support to planning, engineering, and building as well as an interdepartmental reviewing team (Development Review Committee). The Planner II also serves as the City’s Land Manager, devoting roughly 5% of work time to this function. The Director of Planning devotes about 50% of time providing direction, oversight, and interdepartmental coordination on a weekly basis. Normal working hours where this service is provided is Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with weekly night meetings. Most of the service is provided at City Hall with occasional off-site meetings at other City facilities or with customers. Work also involves site visits and inspections.
