All throughout school, students are ask what we want to be when we grow up. Many of us know or have a pretty good idea, but others have no clue what they want to pursue as a career in life, whether it be furthering their education at a university or attending a technical school. There are other students that plan to start work right out of high school. Either way we all have a plan, and the purpose of this paper is to inform you of mine. After high school, I plan to attend college for four years, and find a part time job during my time in college. While I attend college, I also plan to continue trying my best to have good grades and a good rank. After college, I plan to find a long term job, and or return back to school to obtain a PhD.

College is very different than high school. So many challenging homework and courses to participate in. That is why my three goals for my career are as follows: I want to receive my college diploma, get a better career path, and learn some new things. Goals are achieved in different ways by different people. Goals can be joining a sport, making new friends, or even as simple as becoming organized. However in order to achieve your goals, you must have an ability. My abilities of being respectful and calm, will help me to have more honor classes, graduate with a 4.0 or higher, go to college and become a pediatrician. Before I become a pediatrician I will need to use my abilities to do so.

The school goals I have set for myself would be that I plan to graduate with a GPA status of above a 3.0 average and will perform outstandingly in the athletic department of my final high school year. Throughout the course of my high school career I have many goals I would like to pursue. One of those goals includes being accepted into both a two and a four-year college so I can hold a Bachelors degree in Science. When I do get accepted into the two and four-year colleges, I plan on working while attending school. Although this goal may be challenging, depending on my classes, I’m going to need a job to support myself. My GPA in college will maintain a 3.7. My field of study will consist of a Radiology program as well as an Ultrasound program to become a Radiology tech/Ultrasound tech. Every year, around 1.2 million students drop out of high school in the United States. I do not plan to be included in this statistic my senior year. Although going through high school can be very stressful at times, there are certain aspects that must be addressed first to ensure success. I will try my best this senior year to graduate, pursue higher learning, and plan for my future. Even though I have many expectations to accomplish before I graduate, these goals are the most important as of right now.

How do I expect my education at the Arts Institute of Colorado to help attain my career goals? Considering the fact that I am still undecided in what I want to become and how I want to spend the rest of my life. I cannot give you a correct answer to this question. However, there are two things this institute will help me achieve with any career that is in my spectrum; and those two things would be the hands on learning system and the networking with future superiors or colleagues in general.

Getting an M.S.BA degree from McCombs serves the purpose of achieving my short term goal: to work as a consultant or business analyst. The reason I want to work in such positions is because of the steep learning curve, I can be exposed to various kinds of cases and learn how to solve problems professionally. This is a to prepare for my long term goal: become an entrepreneur myself in helping startups with data analytics and decision making.

My educational goals have been clear for years. Freshman year of high school, I fell in love with genetics and all the possibilities of helping with it. I didn’t even know what kind of jobs existed in the genetics field, but I knew I would do whatever job that got me helping people. Junior and senior year when I was looking for colleges, I was shocked and almost devastated when I discovered that only one university in Texas offered a genetics major and that I would have to go out of state if I didn’t get accepted there. Luckily, I got accepted and I’m on my way there. Finally, being in college has helped me discover more about what jobs are available to me and the job I want is to be a genetics counselor. My first goal for this school year is to get my ... stuff together, first and foremost. This is ridiculous, honestly i should be done or at least in my senior year but instead, i am a junior with 8 credits. Like... ew, thats not acceptable nor cute. I thought the more people you surround yourself around the easier it would be to pass, i don't know where i got that from but i believed that, faithfully. This year I am going to do things a little differently. I will have a very small very tight circle of friends, not even friends just associates really. Stay to myself and get my work done. I mean it shouldn't be that hard seeing i don't really care about other people that much let alone there lives, i don't like parties, and I am not a fan of large crowds. So staying to myself and knocking my classes out shouldn't be hard, seeing i don't really do anything else with my time

As a senior, you have a lot on your mind. To try and keep up with all the plans you are making, you will need to stay organized. Setting goals for the future will keep your mind on track and help maintain focus. These goals will be centered on your future, specifically school and post-high school life.

After examining, history, income, and schooling, it is clear that to strive to be a lawyer would be an excellent goal after high school. Lawyers have always been very important throughout history, have very high income, and require a lot of schooling. Becoming a lawyer would be a great career to get into.

If I’m fortunate enough for the diligent work invested in my education to pay off, I strive to enter the career of chemical engineering. An all-time goal would be to work for a company such as Tesla; they are the epitome of future innovation and it would be an honor to be able to work for them. Tesla’s advancements in battery technology and their efforts to reduce fossil fuel dependency are the areas I’m fascinated with. Additionally, the emphasis for my major is environmental engineering because it is vital to protect the environment and I encourage it.
