Sacrifice For The Latino Community

Being Hispanic is a big part of who I am. I am proud to represent a race that is so full with hard working people with big aspirations and diverse culture. I am proud to be a female Hispanic that will be the first generation in my family that will go to a four year

As of 2014, the Latino community has become the largest minority group in the United States, making up around 17% (roughly 55 Million) of the population alone (CNN News). However, due to the lack of news and media coverage that Hispanics/Latinos receive, people are uninformed about the community. The small portion of the media that does talk about the Latino community often has false information that tends to leave a negative impression of Latinos. By informing Americans about Latinos, they will get an idea of what 17% of the county is actually made of. Even though some people believe that there is enough media coverage in the Latino community, there should be more positive media coverage for the Latino community. Americans need to know about what is actually happening in the Latino community, because Latinos are the largest minority group in the U.S, Latinos have a strong work ethic, and the Latino community has made a major impact of the American culture.

The quote is important because it shows how life and the world work. It reminds me of how in the real world, no one is never truly prepared for what life throws at them. Bad things happen, and the best we can do is prepare for when that scenario happens.

Immigrants are what make up America, and all that come here are faced with great difficulty. They can face discrimination, struggles getting on their feet, and strive for the American Dream. The American Dream is a belief that everyone will have equal opportunities to succeed and get a better life. This is found in the hearts of almost all immigrants, no matter where they come from. This had led to waves of people flooding into the United States. The most notable wave that has occurred was in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. During this time, thousands of Lithuanians flooded through Ellis Island into America; their change from their lives in Lithuania, to their work experience and education, their lives in America had overall left a positive impact on society.

This quote is asking what someone thinks it means. This means many things. From other perspectives, many believe this quote full on because many people have had many relationships with different people. Some of those people have passed and when they think of that of course they become sad that they had passed but everyone has taught me something. Choices run our life. These choices make us who we are, they bring despair and happiness. In the book “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” by J.K. Rowling Albus Dumbledore says, “It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” This quote really means that our abilities are not as important as our choices on how successful out life is. There are plenty of real life situations where this quote comes in place.

As we grow older there are lot of things happens in our life, there are lot of problem that challenge us to see how far can we go, how long can we endure it. In this quote tells us that no matter what happens we should stand still and continue what we started to do.
