When world war two occurred, Americans feared sabotage and Japanese in general because they were considered to be spies that were helping Japan in the war. So Americans started gathering Japanese-Americans and other people they thought could be a threat to lock them in internment or concentration camps. Americans didn’t care that most Japanese concentrated in these camps were not supporting, and they simply snatched people away from their homes and memories for the so-called country’s safety. In the article, “Executive Order of 9066,” it is mentioned that Franklin Roosevelt feared destruction and decided to ship all the Japanese to a place where they couldn’t communicate with the outside world, but could attend school and have access to medical care and to other basic needs. In the article, “Their Way to Show Loyalty,” it said that 2to prevent sabotage, “The most sensible … way to ensure against it is to move the Japanese out of harm’s way and make it as easy as possible for them to go and remain until the war is over.” This shows how and what America did to prevent any action against it and to cope up with …show more content…

Honestly, before trying to point out mistakes in the world, point out your mistakes first. Don’t think you can change the world without changing the world first. Gandhi once said, “Be the change that you want to see in the world,” (Gandhi). Instead of trying to transform the world, alter the way you think. Differences between people are created when people feel superior than others, so stop thinking this and believe you’re all equal to everyone around you. Discriminating is the reason why history kept repeating itself and why people felt ashamed and humiliated. Most importantly, do not judge others. You have no idea what that persons been through and how he or she feels, don’t jump the gun before knowing all the facts.
