Romeo And Juliet - Who’s To Blame? In the Romeo and Juliet play I would blame Romeo of being wrong about his actions and decisions he made. Romeo killed about two people and became a problem because he is a Montague and the love of his life is a Capulet. Romeo also didn’t think most things through before doing them. He wouldn’t think about the consequences or trouble he’d be causing. Romeo shouldn’t have made himself the bad guy in this play. Romeo nor Juliet were making the right decisions. Romeo was just breaking the rules of the Montagues and Capulet being separated. Romeo is to blame when he asks Juliet to marry him so quickly. In Act ll Scene 4 Romeo tells the Friar Lawrence, “ And all combined, save what thou must combine by Holy marriage.” He didn’t know Juliet that good when he met and fell in love with her. He later found out that she is a Capulet but still is determined to marry her. Romeo plans to have a secret marriage with Juliet. Romeo wasn’t thinking things through when he fell in love with Juliet and married her. He didn’t think about the outcome of it so that’s why they had a private marriage. Everyone knows it wouldn’t work because he’s a Montague and she is a Capulet. Romeo made a mistake by rushing into his and Juliet’s love and relationship. …show more content…

In Act V Scene 1 Balthasar says, “ Her body sleeps in Capel’s monument, and her immortal part with angel lives.” If Romeo would’ve waited a while longer, then he would’ve gotten the letter from Friar Lawrence about Juliet’s fake death scene. Romeo shouldn’t have left s o quickly to Verona because he knows that he isn’t welcome there. The night before he had a dream of this happening but he shouldn’t have believed his dream. He also overexaggerated when he asked for the poison to kill himself so he can lie next to the love of his life,
