“The Crucible” is written by Arthur Miller, and it is about a very religious community in Salem, Massachusetts. The book is about a group of girls that went into the forest and “talked to the devil.” In the forest they performed some kind of a ritual and some negative effects, consequently two girls were under the wrath of witchcraft, unable to awake. In the play, "The Crucible," characters are placed in intense circumstances where they feel uncomfortable and they requirement for something to change with a specific end goal to determine the issue. At the point when Abigail was moving in the forested areas with whatever remains of the young ladies, it was a pure adventure. Out of the blue, Abigail transformed from a kid playing honest recreations, to a manipulative girl, blaming townsfolk for conjuring spirits. Attempting to move the fault to others, Abigail shouts in court, "I need to open myself! I need the light of God, I need the sweet love of Jesus! I moved for the Devil; I saw him; I wrote in his book; I backpedal to Jesus; I kiss His hand. I saw Sarah Good with the Devil! I saw Goody Osburn with the Devil! I saw Bridget Bishop with the Devil!" (Miller, 48) In this scene, she tries to control the court by blaming other individuals. Additionally, when one was blamed for witchcraft, there is no physical proof to convict, for example, a man accused of conveying their soul to damage somebody. The main thing that the court needs to go on is the force of the word. These things are a part of the way that Abigail Williams uses to control and adventure other individuals around
