Personal Narrative: Changing The World

There are so many ways that we can change the world we are living in today. I think I would want to change the world by putting a stop on drugs, alcohol, and smoking and making this a serious thing. People have told me that some kind of drugs are good for you and I tell them “that is for the dogs none of that is true” and all I have to say about this is not one drug on this earth is going to help breathe when you wake up the next morning. The reasons people drink is for their own entertainment I have heard about how so many people have drunk to get something off of their mind. Not to be offensive but that is something that hurts other people and hurts you also.” Promising this is the best thing I will ever do” I will never drink any alcohol for the rest of my living days. Every time I turn on the news all I hear about is how people drinking and driving. We all know for sure they can put a ban on items like this but I don’t see it happening any time soon. When I turn on the news to see how people have got diseases from putting a cigarette in their mouth. How would you make a change in world?

You ever give money to good cause? With one million dollars I would donated to three groups. Major issues that we face in our time now days, but if I could stop those issues before they got worse. We got kids in factories, having their backs broken for 15 cents a day. Women fighting for their rights, bad food coming off the rack. Tree’s being destroyed for more open land, to develop new areas. I would donate $125,000 to Feeding America because every person deserves to have healthy food to eat, because food is a necessary in order for a person to live, and Feeding America helps the hungry by giving them meals,. I want to help people survive and have a good life, and donating to an organization that gets families meals to eat daily is a really good way to do that. In 1981 the Southern Proverty Law Center filed lawssuits because of a lynching of a black young man this lawsuit have helped decrease the violence caused by the KKK. Suing these KKK groups permanently putting an end to them due to taking of funds. To produce awareness regarding the different hate groups near and far so people can help the world of hate. To have the knowledge about what goes on around them as well in other areas is benefical to everyone of their surrondings. To help end hate I would teach my children along with those who are involved in my life to love thy neighbor. For example if everyone would do their part in recycling or conserving energy/water, that could change the whole outlook of global pollution, because if every single person would do their part we would be able to save energy or water. So if everyone would do their part in trying to conserve resources or not be as greedy, we would all be able to share resources without having to go into war. If people weren’t so greedy with diamonds in Sierra Leone, that war could have been shortened or even prevented. Greed is something that is very hard to prevent because people automatically become greedy and don’t know when they become greedier, but I feel, as though greed is always the cause of everything. What would you do differently if you had it to do all over again? Why?……...7

The question or problem I would solve would have to be the war on poverty and the streets influence on children in the inner cities of America. The amount of people in America are hungry and it seems as if the inner cities are the focal point for those terribly high numbers. I would attend the all the food drives ad even possibly start a food bank and help families feed their young children who have no way of providing for their selves. I would even maybe visit their schools to help them pursue their dreams no matter how crazy because, isn't that what America is all about?

I feel it is very important to appreciate everyday what you have and are able to do. There are people in the world who are less fortunate than you and don’t have the same opportunities as you so to take them seriously. Given money to start a business I would start up a free clinic for homeless people. This will help people through out states and hopefully inspire people around the world. This will help people because, not everyone has the profit to afford health care for themselves; therefore, people who are fortunate should help those who aren’t. People will be able to help out who will volunteer with some kind of medical background who can help. This clinic could possibly help lives and give people second chances.

My husband and I have done well enough financially that I now devoting my attention on ways we can improve the world by educating, inspiring, and bringing people together.

The world I live in is nothing like I want it to be. Everyone cares so little about things that actually matter. Firstly, I would get rid of airplanes. I have travelled to five of the seven continents in the world. It was fun experiencing the different environments of these locations throughout the world. However, all this moving around meant leaving friends and school behind to begin a new life in a new place. Without airplanes there would not be any traveling. This would make me not have to move anywhere far and go through the hassle of letting people know about myself in order to make new friends. Following this further, I would also remove movies from the world.

Out of all the things you could buy my main thing would be to buy a nice house. This house would be big enough fit my family, and, be able to meet their needs. This house would have anything anyone would need or want. It would also have a giant pool for hot days, and other indoor/outdoor entertainment for days that are boring.

Second, be nice to loved ones and to other people.
