Personal Narrative: A Hero's Life

“Are you coming home with me” says Thor. The troll noddes. “I shall name you Gilbert” says Thor. The two set out on their long walk home. Meanwhile Loki has heard about Thor's new friend and is plotting revenge on Thor for chaining him up for all of those years.

"Look, Danny. I get it. You don't like doing anything besides staying at SHIELD. I am going to be completely honest with you; it wasn't my idea to drag you out into the city. It was Coulson." I explain to Danny who was next to me.

Over the next two weeks, we planned how to tell the others about Loki and me. It was going well but Thor was not so sure, what would happen. He’s just as anxious as I was about telling knew that they would be mad with him keeping this secret. They had to understand why he didn't tell them.

In Thor, he must regain his powers by getting his hammer back. Like all superheroes of antiquity this final test must be completed alone. Once The Destroyer arrives, he starts destroying everything with heat. Thor and three scientists attempt to get everyone away safely. In this final test, there is always a doubt of success or final unexpected hurdle that the superhero must overcome. Unexpectedly, The Destroyer kills Thor, which causes a setback. Everyone thinks he is dead but since he sacrificed himself, he gets his Mjolnir back which he is then able to easily defeat The Destroyer. The completion of the final test is the most important element in a superheroes life and Thor succeeds and is rewarded by getting his hammer back. This pattern in Thor's life confirms his status as a true model of the Hero Quest Cycle.

For anyone else watching the stock-frozen engineer, they would just see her holding onto the door with white-tensed knuckles, wavering slightly on her feet as she just stared blankly into the shed. One morning, Thor awoke to see his beautiful wife Sif completely bald. Sif was petrified. Thor knew straight away that his rival Loki was to blame. An incensed Thor went to Loki and asked why he pulled out her hair. Thor threatened Loki until eventually, he told Thor that the dwarfs were capable of making anything, including a head of hair for Sif.

“Never thought I’d be able to tell people I was kidnapped by the Winter Soldier via window.” Tony muttered against his shoulder, fighting back a smile when they shook with suppressed laughter.

This is the only thought running through Clint’s head when he returns to the Avengers tower. Natasha grabs Clint’s arm to get his attention.

Here, Loki’s warning indicates his allegiance to the Aesir over the giants. Interestingly, being notoriously known for his short temper, Thor does not lash out against Loki when he orders him to be quite. In fact, Thor willingly obeys his request because Thor senses the truth that without the hammer, the safety of Asgard will be jeopardized. With the help of Loki, Thor manages to get back his hammer in the end. This story demonstrates how much the Aesir trust Loki so that they make him as their travel companion, whom they seek an advice

Steve however was stunned. It wasn’t like he didn’t know he was opening a genie’s bottle when he called Loki, but he’d completely dismissed the various warnings Thor had made over the years about how when Loki granted you a favor, the results were often not what you’d thought

After having heard Gamora’s side of the story he wanted answers that he knew his brother would never provide. At first he felt abysmal about the whole ordeal. Grasping the idea of not only the suffer Loki have been through but the fact that when he experienced all of this he thought his brother could come to his rescue. No matter how hard everyone else attempted to get him mind off of the past and make him talk he just pushed them away. His effort to have a conversation with Loki was fruitless so the next obvious choice available for discussion was Maddison. So Thor decided to ask her directly. ‘’ What have my brother revealed to you about the torment he had? Can you express to me what he has said to you? I am very worried about him.’’ ‘’ I am not allowed to share any information from my evaluations to anyone. However I can tell you that he is willing to explain to me the distress Thanos caused.’’ Maddison made a pause to study Thor’s face and see an expression of relief. ‘’ About you on the other hand I believe you need to comprehend that you did nothing wrong. It wasn’t your fault. You had on way of knowing he survived the fall and that he was calling out to you during that time. I expect you to understand it as well and if I am needed my office is right there.’’ And without waiting to hear a respond he left for her

Fury reactivates the Avengers Initiative. Agent Natasha Romanoff who plays the role of the black widow in Avengers comics is sent to Calcutta (India) to recruit Dr. Bruce Banner, later he became hulk. Fury himself approaches Captain America with an assignment to retrieve the Tesseract from Loki. Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow travel to Germany to apprehend Loki, who is stealing iridium for stabilize the Tesseract 's power and demanding that the civilians kneel before him. After a battle with Captain America, Loki surrenders and is escorted back to the agency’s plane. However, Thor, Loki 's brother and the Norse god of thunder arrives and attempts to free Loki to reason with him. Iron man and Captain America attempt to restart the damaged engines, Dr. Banner transforms into the Hulk, despite Black Widow’s best efforts to calm him down, and runs amok inside the ship, fighting Thor are both ejected from the ship. During a fight with Hawkeye, Black Widow discovers that a blow to the head powerful enough to knock Hawkeye unconscious is enough to break Loki 's mind control. The Helicarrier lands on the surface of the ocean, but Loki escapes and traps Thor in his cell.

“ I Better go check on her.” Loki said before. Odin gave him an understanding nod and continued fiddling with a map. Loki Stepped into the hallway where Kate was sitting on the ground. “Are you okay?” asked Loki before joining her on the floor. “Is this the world we live in now? Where we must fight our literal demons?”. Loki knew that it was up to him to comfort her but he was just as distraught as her even though he didn't show it. “I know, I know. Loki said as he sighed. “Tomorrow we’ll be back in Philadelphia. Are you not excited to see Darcy?” Said Loki trying to give her something to look forward to. “Yes. It’s been so long. I’m sure she’s worried about me.” Said Kate.
