Personal Core Values

Integrity. To me, integrity is being honest to others and to yourself. It’s to have moral uprights. It’s the state of being whole. It’s a word used to describe someone’s level of honesty. No one is gets integrity once they are born. It is developed by good influences actions. Having integrity is doing the right thing is a trustful way. Someone who has integrity means they have a moral compass that leads them in the right direction. They follow their moral judgements and do good things under all circumstances, even if no one pays attention. They would do nothing that dishonors themselves.

Integrity is being fair and not taking sides when someone asks for my opinion. Having the ability to truly be honest and say what is right instead of trying to placate the truth. Integrity is affording, anyone the opportunity to correct their issues, instead of continually endeavoring to find fault in them. Integrity is after returning home from a six month deployment saying NO I won’t go on leave during the time that the command is scheduled to go to Vulcanex. The integrity to go and support my command and fellow sailors so that they are not overly stressed and over worked for an exercise, that I may have the option not to

Integrity is having a strong moral compass and knowing where your place in the world is.

What is integrity? This is a very complicated question with a million different ways to answers. Integrity is something that a person can possess. It is something that a structure can possess and it is something that a sport can possess among many other things. When someone is asked if they have integrity the person must think about what qualities are associated with integrity.

A person of integrity does exactly what he says and says exactly what he means. There is no conflict between his thoughts and actions. His actions are consistent with the values he professes. According to Dr. William Manninger, A building without integrity may receive structural damage, or even collapse, in a storm. Similarly, people without integrity are blown about by the winds of misfortune and destroyed by catastrophes, for they lack the firmness, solidity, and strength of character to weather any storm. This means that integrity is one of the six essential qualities that are the key to success.

Throughout our lifetime, us as people decide to admire different objects, ideas, and people due to what pleases their thoughts and actions. The infinite examples of things we could’ve valued could’ve been toys, friends, book, etc.. But then we began to mature and begin to come out of our little shells to discover new products, views of the world, and new ways to advance in our technology and therefore influencing what we value today. And as I matured in my lifetime, I established a novel value to my parents the greatest.

A person with integrity is humble – He is more concerned about what is right than about being right. He recognizes principle and puts it ahead of self.

Integrity can be defined as "an uncompromising adherence to a code of moral, artistic or other values, utter sincerity, honesty and candor, avoidance of deception, expediency, artificiality or shallowness of any kind" (Webster's 3rd New International Dictionary 1174). In simpler words this means to maintain high standards and follow the rules, even when no one is watching. Integrity is very important in our everyday life if we wish to be good people. The sad thing is that if you ask some people what integrity means to them they will probably tell you that it doesn't mean much and some may not even know what integrity is. Certain people feel that in order to get ahead in life they need to break certain rules. It is

Integrity is defined as following your moral or ethical convictions and doing the right thing in all circumstances, even if no one is watching you. Having integrity means you are true to yourself and would do nothing that demeans or dishonors you. When employees are asked what they want from leaders it is integrity. Qualities change across culture and time, but what people say they want most in American society is integrity. When people are asked to define integrity, the word they mention most frequently is honesty. The leader with integrity always tells the truth as he or she believes it to be. Think about the best leader you have ever had; she or he probably had integrity. First and foremost, people want a leader they can trust. Ask yourself whether you have a reputation for integrity. (Manning 6) Integrity can be broken down into sub components:

As I have grown as an adult and moved further towards success in my life, I have always maintained a guided structure to achieve goals and tasks that challenge me. I call these my “Core Values”. This is a strict regimen or a belief system that I have instilled into my everyday practice to complete any task that presents itself. Although not perfected, I have found this method to be quite successful. My work ethic, responsibility, and my drive to further my education and knowledge have never failed me. Life can seem tough and demanding on a very consistent basis, but I believe that I have cultivated a plan to accommodate and withstand any trial

Integrity is how somebody lives their life. In this life we live, we face choices every day that only we can answer. We dictate how we run our own lives, and they way we run them defines us. Integrity is doing the right thing versus the wrong thing. People, if nothing else, can always have their pride, their integrity. It is something that means a lot to some people and then nothing to others. The ones who value their integrity highly are the good people in this world, and the opposite is true for those who do not value their integrity.

It requires you to be candid and sincere with your peers, subordinates, and superiors. Integrity calls upon you to be honest and honorable in word and deed at all times. Integrity means doing the right thing even if there is no one watching. To have integrity a person must have the ability to distinguish the difference between right and wrong, so that when a controversial issue arises the right and honorable thing will be done. It is an important role in the values because if one does not have integrity they cannot be trusted on in a time of need or when you are working side by side with them in every day work. What they say cannot be taken on word alone. I usually take my integrity very seriously, and it makes me sick to think that I gave that up for something so stupid. We must have integrity because if we don’t we are untrustworthy and unreliable. These are 2 things I never want associated with my name.

Core values are a person or an organization's fundamental beliefs, these principles prescribe behavior along with helping people understand the difference between right and wrong, “values are what motivate you in life. They are what guide you along the path of fulfilment, so essentially your values are the foundation of who you are” (C.Worsley). These values are important to have because they are what shape you, they make every person unique. Having a spirit of adventure, perseverance, and having patience are only some of my core values. Knowing what you cherish is very important and is something many people should revise.

Integrity, as we all may know,is not a joke. Something many people take very seriously. I would hope you all would know the definition of integrity, if not I guess it would be helpful to tell you. Integrity in the internet's perspective is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness, the state of being whole and undivided. In my Perspective Integrity is being able to be honest and true, to not just yourself but everyone that's in your surroundings as well. There is another version of integrity and that is self-Integrity which is known as the process of knowing your self, a process of self-sought but never completed. Honesty is the state imposed by others, which is somewhat connected to self-integrity. Integrity is how a person will live their life however they please. In this crazy thing we call life, we tend to face many choices every single day that not only can we personally answer but everyone can answer as well. Integrity is doing the right thing versus the wrong thing, and I am not saying that any of the definitions are incorrect, but what I am portraying is that everybody's definition is different, and will always be different.

In addition to my mission statement, my core life values are the foundation of my mission statement, which allows me to uphold my promises and standards. These promises and standards will afford me the opportunity to improve the life of others and myself for the better. Therefore, there are four particular core values that I live by each and every day. The four values are commitment, compassion, dedication, and optimism. The first core value, commitment, embodies the theme of loyalty and honor. I work hard each day to live up to the promises that I make to finish tasks, help others, and meet the expectations that I place on myself or by others. The second core value that I live by is compassion because I wholeheartedly believe in being kind to everyone and helping those in need. The third value that I live by is dedication. Along with the previous two values, dedication is an important factor because being dedicated to someone or something allows a person to display that person’s character of being steadfast and passionate—even in the face of adversity. The fourth and final value that is a foundation for my personal mission is
