Many people go through life so jambacked with tasks to complete, they forget the most important thing in life is joy. Most likely these people are stressed out and become depressed. In my opinion the best way to live is to stop worrying about life and live in the present. By living in the present I will be able to live a peaceful life. Now that the year 2018 is here, I want to slow down emotionally, physically, spiritually, and have relationships that will make my life enjoyable.
As my high school years are winding down I want to savor all the precious moments and experiences I have left. I am going to decrease my workload and only focus on the tasks that need to be completed at the present moment. By doing this I will be able to free up

At the end of the summer I will have to say goodbye to the source of my enjoyment, so my main focus of this summer will be to dedicate a lot more time to hangout with my high school friends to put more memories in the book. I will also be trying new things because the source of boredom is doing the same thing over and over again. By finding new things to do with the people with the people I love will increase the enjoyment that is necessary to have in life. The biggest challenge I will be facing is adapting to the college life. In order to enjoy my fall semester I have to get comfortable with my surroundings and meet new people that I will have fun hanging out with. College is hard work and will take a lot of time to succeed, so I will need to manage my time to get my work done before I schedule time to do something fun. Another important thing will be surrounding myself with things I enjoy like activities, classes and people. In college it seems so easy to get swamped up in workload that college becomes a stressful and depressing. My goal in the first semester of college will to make sure that my time in college is enjoyable and not emotionally draining. Another aspect of college I need to adapt to expanding my relationships with students. In order to succeed in college I will need to enjoy the people that I am around. This will be difficult because college is full of students with different
As a student, employee, son, brother, and Christian I have many responsibilities. The most important responsibility is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. My personal goals are to be married and have a child or children by the age of 30. Secondarily and far less pressing is to drive a full sized truck, and to comfortably afford it. My academic goals are very unclear. They directly correlate with my career goals which have not been set. But for the sake of this paper my academic goal is to first get my AA. And if I still have no set career goal, to move onto UCF to either study physical training or business. My career goals that I have set have more to do with retirement. This is due to the fact that I do not know what I would like to spend the rest of my life doing. One of my biggest Goals is to retire by the year 2042. That would put me at the age of 45. I think that leaves me with a lot of my life left to do what I’ve always wanted. And I can be very involved in my younger kid’s lives.

A big goal I have for myself is to continue growing and developing as a musician. I want to gain as much experience as I can as a music educator as well as a private teacher. I believe in order to be a successful teacher whether it is in a classroom or private studio setting, the more techniques and strategies you have to teach with the more successful you will be. Working with Crystal Malinski at Foundation Music School has been such an amazing and eye opening experience for me. I have observed and learned so many techniques and strategies as well as having the opportunity to interact with students. Something I really want to improve up is reaching out to schools around Fort Collins and asking to observe their music classes in order to get
Your first semester is probably going to be a rollercoaster of emotions. The first semester is packed with payments, paper work, just overall requirements needed at first but don’t worry that’s only temporary. You will get the hang of it and organize yourself with time. You might go into college knowing exactly what you want to study or what you want to do with the rest of your life, or you might be excited knowing you’ll have the options to choose your courses as you please exploring all avenues. Wherever you are in that spectrum make sure that you are extremely open minded and take classes you normally wouldn’t gear towards because college is all about exploring and finding new passions and interest. Take advantage of your elective courses and don’t just stick to classes that are related to your major of interest; there are so many topics out there to learn from! Please don’t be intimidated of taking advantage of all the good opportunities that present themselves in front of you. If none are visible, make them yourself. Never get in the habit of saying you don’t have resources such as money, friends, leaders because the best tool and only one you truly need is resourcefulness. Don’t get caught up in fear of failure because college is
My primary goal is to spiritually help people throughout the community. Studying to teach math will guide me to support other young people struggling in Math. In addition, volunteering will help me feed hungry people and provide refuge if I start a business in the future. In high school, I developed many friendships along the way. Many people would consider going to college without making friends; however, making friends is imperative to my life so I can be a friend to bullied children and injured people. In addition, I desire to be writer in order to speak about people’s challenges in their lives and to demonstrate how to accomplish their goals; in the future, these stories speak truth in a corrupted world. In school, studying math and creative
As with most college students, the first semester was a memorable and formative time for me. Not only do we have to adjust to a new format of learning, we also must adjust to being away from our families for the first time, adjust to a new culture different from our high schools, make new friends, along with the other stressors that come from life. However, we come out better on the other end. The greatest thing about college is that your limits are pushed, you’re exposed to new ideas and subjects, you gain skills, and you are constantly growing. Although it was hard, I feel prepared and excited for the rest of my college experience.
In my lifetime I have gone through a lot of difficult situations, my grandpa died when I was a freshmen in high school and overcame a death of a classmate just a month after my own car accident. I have also learned a lot from all of this things that has happened to me. I have learned that no matter how bad the situation is you still are able to rise above the the worst of things. That your strengths are the things that carry you through tough positions, and enable you to look into the future and see the great things that came out of the hard times.
Everyone has life goals that they wish to achieve. Some may be completing college while others may be starting a family and getting married. My goals are completing college with my masters degree in business, gaining a successful job as an entrepreneur, and creating a maintaining at least three successful business. These goals may come with obstacles including judgement of gender, religion and race. Chapter 10, 11, and 13’s concepts in the textbook “Society the Basics” help me overcome these judgments by pointing out life lessons and important information.
My personal goal is that I stop eating fast food so often and start eating healthier foods. Every other week I stop to eat fast food either after school or after work, I usually am too tired to make food that is actually good for you so I just go stop at either Burger King or McDonalds.
Everyone wonders how his or her life is going to end up; however, I know how my life is going to unfold because I am aware of my goals, challenges, and strengths. I have many goals for my career and life that will help me find new paths and dreams to pursue, and I will be able to find my ideal job and lifestyle. Also, it will allow me to succeed in a topic or subject. Although I do have many personal challenges which could set me back, I am sure my individual strengths will help me overcome the setbacks and will help me get farther in life. The qualities and traits that will assist me are being helpful, preferring a manual or direct approach, and being energetic. These traits are what help me choose and identify my goals, challenges, and strengths.
Goals are something that people set themselves and work hard to complete. These goals can be something you want to complete in your life. Everyone has many goals they are fighting to get to. I have many goals that I wanted to do throughout my life. In this essay, I will write about three most important goals in my life. The first goal is education, and the second goal is family and the third goal are to build my own house.
Are any questions you focused on in your life deep questions? I think that a lot of the questions I have concerning my life are deep questions: for example, I wonder if I will finish this program and graduate. I ask myself if I can have a great career once I obtain a college degree, and be able to provide for my family like I want. I also think about the fact that I have to repay my student loans and this has me worried because we have a new President that has made it clear that he does not care if students have a hardship or not we are supposed to live on nothing in order to pat back our student loans however, he has done nothing except undo so many programs that have helped millions of American citizens who are not able to afford insurance and many other things. I worry about my children and what kind of world they are growing up in as well as I have a desire to give them the things they want or need.
One of the most important key factors to succeeding throughout your life is creating goals for yourself. Some goals are short-term that can be accomplished within a year, while others are long term goals that you work for over a long period of time. Majority of the goals that I have set for myself require hard word, dedication, and planning. To achieve the goals that I have set for myself, I attend an institution that drives my creative mind in a direction that will bring prosperity and achievement. Receiving an education from Spelman college has enabled me to become a critical thinker in a society that is diverse. The three main goals that I have set for myself are based upon ways I can strive in my academic journey, personal life, and
When I first started to think about what I wanted my goals to be, it was actually very overwhelming. I have never been one of the skinny girls that can fit into a size two or where extra small shirts. I was always one of the thicker girls that was always buff and alto stronger from playing softball all of my life. While I was playing softball I never really paid attention to what I ate because we were always having to eat at fast food places because of tournaments. I never really gained any weight either simply because I would always be active wither before I ate or right after I ate. Once I stopped playing softball after my senior year ended I never changed my eating habits. I was always sitting at home munching on snacks all day long or going to work and picking up something from McDonald’s before or after work. I gained about five pounds over summer break but I didn’t really think much of it. Once I got to LC I noticed that I wasn’t eating healthy like I should have been. That is when I decided that I wanted to work on my weight and also get a lot of my muscle strength back.
Growing up, we all had our own vision of what our lives would be like when we were older. Some of us wanted to be doctors and nurses while others aspired to be musicians and singers.
