My Goals After High School

In my years after my High School Graduation, and into my college life, I have many goals set in mind for what I want to achieve. My first goal is to graduate from high school finishing with a 4.0 as one of the valedictorians. I wish to continue working very hard in these last two quarters of school. After graduation, I want to attend Bluffton University and study Nursing for four years. I think that getting a nursing degree fits my personality well and that I will highly enjoy that career in my lifetime. I will pursue my Track and Field career there as well, and plan to improve my skills.

Ever since I was young, I was exposed to a Historically Black College or University, Jackson State University. I had always went to activities and functions such as football games, summer programs, and other special events. I did not know whether I would attend a historically Black College or University (HBCU) or not at the time. I had finally decided to go to a HBCU, and I would attend Tougaloo College in the fall to further my education. I have many goals and objectives for pursing my educational experience at a historically Black College, and I plan to achieve them.

College is very different than high school. So many challenging homework and courses to participate in. That is why my three goals for my career are as follows: I want to receive my college diploma, get a better career path, and learn some new things. There are many things I have to do in order to achieve these goals. With hard work and dedication, I am ver confident I can do this.

Going to college has been a dream of mine growing up. I am the first ever in my family to go to college but figuring out how to pay for it has been a challenge. I desire to achieve my academic and career goals and this scholarship can help me succeed in my journey.

Goals are achieved in different ways by different people. Goals can be joining a sport, making new friends, or even as simple as becoming organized. However in order to achieve your goals, you must have an ability. My abilities of being respectful and calm, will help me to have more honor classes, graduate with a 4.0 or higher, go to college and become a pediatrician. Before I become a pediatrician I will need to use my abilities to do so.

Throughout the course of my high school career I have many goals I would like to pursue. One of those goals includes being accepted into both a two and a four-year college so I can hold a Bachelors degree in Science. When I do get accepted into the two and four-year colleges, I plan on working while attending school. Although this goal may be challenging, depending on my classes, I’m going to need a job to support myself. My GPA in college will maintain a 3.7. My field of study will consist of a Radiology program as well as an Ultrasound program to become a Radiology tech/Ultrasound tech. These two fields will allow me a greater chance of finding a job, plus it will supply more yearly income. After college I will be using the knowledge I gained

My academic goal is to graduate Argosy University with a bachelors degree in Forensic Psychology in three years time. Forensic Psychology is the study of the criminal mind, in a nutshell. The main motivation to achieve this goal would be intrinsic. I love asking questions and knowing the answers as to why people do what they do, and in a criminals case, what led them to committing the crime. This goal, however, may have some extrinsic motivation as well. Being knowledgeable about certain behaviors that criminals poses may help solve or even prevent a crime. In addition, having a degree will help open different paths in life, ones that may present me with greater job opportunities. My attitude toward the learning process will help my achievement of each goal because I am eager, determined and motivated. My greatest desire is to succeed in life, and obtaining an education is one thing I know will help me. I perhaps will need to make some adjustments along my journey. I do not know yet if I will find another educational path that intrigues me the most. For now, I do not feel that any adjustments need to be made.

My educational goals are to get accepted into a great college, such as New Mexico State University and achieve the highest level of excellence that I am able to push myself to, just as I did within my high school years. As usual, when you ask someone about their goals it is a very simple answer such as something that can be achieved without hardships and something that is the least stressful. However, I myself strive to be better than that and know that great things are accomplished when you put forth your full effort. With that being said I strive to have excellent grades with a minimum of a 3.8 GPA and work with my best effort to excel at an accelerated level. A few individuals need to be rich and well known, and others like there life test and unimportant. I'm the sort of individual that is cordial, receptive and gutsy. My main purpose for existing is to turn into the best form of myself both physically and mentally. With the end goal me should achieve my objectives, I must be taught. I am as of now going to school so that I may acquire my Associates Degree. My objective is to turn into a radiologist and that is the main inspiration I require. I like to carry on with my life without bounds, notwithstanding when I'm not in the state of mind. My goal is to stay propelled and solid so that I may fulfill the objectives that I have set out for myself. I am getting it done when I am sure and most noticeably

My first goal for this school year is to get my ... stuff together, first and foremost. This is ridiculous, honestly i should be done or at least in my senior year but instead, i am a junior with 8 credits. Like... ew, thats not acceptable nor cute. I thought the more people you surround yourself around the easier it would be to pass, i don't know where i got that from but i believed that, faithfully. This year I am going to do things a little differently. I will have a very small very tight circle of friends, not even friends just associates really. Stay to myself and get my work done. I mean it shouldn't be that hard seeing i don't really care about other people that much let alone there lives, i don't like parties, and I am not a fan of large crowds. So staying to myself and knocking my classes out shouldn't be hard, seeing i don't really do anything else with my time

As a senior, you have a lot on your mind. To try and keep up with all the plans you are making, you will need to stay organized. Setting goals for the future will keep your mind on track and help maintain focus. These goals will be centered on your future, specifically school and post-high school life.

My goals for my high school career vary from year to year. or my freshman year, I plan to just survive and figure out how high school works. Going to a new school is tough enough for me, but in the past I have had little to no interaction with kids from other grades. Now, with the majority of my classes being ones with sophomores in them, it is all the more hectic, not to mention the halls. When I become a sophomore, I will focus on the more social aspect of school. Not in the form of chatting with my peers, of course, but more so in extra-curricular activities. I don't plan on finding much, but whatever I do find will be a benefit. Along with this, I plan on working on my issues with anxiety and general nervousness. I will be working on this throughout my school years, but I will focus on it as a

After examining, history, income, and schooling, it is clear that to strive to be a lawyer would be an excellent goal after high school. Lawyers have always been very important throughout history, have very high income, and require a lot of schooling. Becoming a lawyer would be a great career to get into.

The passion that drives me to wake up early , to attend school and take five classes. Work up to 40 hours a week or more, are my dreams,my determination and a plan to receive my degree from an “AA” up to PH.D. I would have to believe in myself to accomplish these plans. My second dream is to move out of South central/Watts , where the youth are dis courage to exceed in school just because “it is not socially accepted” .(Courage To Learn, Daniel Ortega) I'm repeatedly seeing friends and foes falling deeper to addictions , in and out of jail, it's just like a cycle they seem to not break away from . The worry that I have is getting involved something negative, that can possibly would stop me from attending school, besides that nothing else
