Christmas is my favorite holiday. I was so excited since it was only 1 day away!!! I already made my christmas list which include this:
Iphone 8 plus
Soccer cleats
Soccerball
I’m 13 years old, so I surely know that Santa doesn’t exist (sorry for destroying yalls hope). My older brother and I been knew that our parents buy the presents and leaves it under the tree so they can make it look like santa came. Though my little baby brother doesn’t know that so let's make him think that. But we also don’t want our parents to know that we know that they are the ones who bring the presents so we keep that lowkey. But woooohh let me tell yall the day we actually did believe it was Santa. So it was Christmas Eve and my brothers and I knew we would have presents in the morning. That night we decide to sleep early around 9:00 p.m. I went to my room and fell asleep. Though I woke up to ANdres coming in my room screaming “KIMMM!!” So my first instinct was to scream too. We tried to turn on the light but the power went off. The next thing I know I was hugging him. Suddenly the lights came on and we noticed we hugging. So we quickly pushed each other and pretend nothing happen. We
This season brings smiles, laughter, cheerfulness, and love to the atmosphere. Christmas, the best time of year, filled with candy canes, gingerbread houses, decorated trees, perfectly wrapped presents, and glistening lights. Everything about Christmas brings out the joy and happiness in people. Christmas is the most adored holiday for many reasons.
there are just so many different holidays that are celebrated in the United States, it makes me feel really happy inside to give gifts and see all the love throughout the day the holiday is celebrated.
Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for all of our rights and the things that we have. We are very thankful to come home every day to a nice home with food and water, some people don’t have the nice things that we have. The rights that I am thankful for as a citizen of this country are the freedom of religion and the freedom of speech.
My family and I went to Colorado Spring for christmas break. We packed up all of our stuff then we put it all in the car. When we got done putting all of our stuff in the car we left we got on the highway. As soon as we got on the highway I took a nap. I woke up when we were in Colorado we were almost there. I was talking to my parents until we stop to get gas. I sat in the car until my dad got done filling the car up. We drove for a little bit and we were in Colorado Springs. We drove to my Aunt's house when we got there I took my stuff in the room I stay in. My cousin came from downstairs and said “Hi ” then he went back downstairs. My aunt put on a movie to all watch together. My grandma was cooking something for all of to eat when the movies was over I went to the kitchen to eat. I went to the kitchen table to talk to my dad. When my dad got done eating We heard a knock on the door we answered it and it was on of my uncles and aunts then my cousins walked in.
Every year I celebrate Christmas with both my mom and my dad's side of the family. This year I got a new pair of Nike tennis shoes. My aunt always prepares this wild game of scavenger hunt. There are two teams the one that I was on lost. Christmas is always full of laughing
I'm still excited about Christmas but I'm starting to get a little stressed as well with it coming so fast. I just feel so behind on everything. I plan on
I was nine years old at the time. It was December 15, 2011, just over five years ago. I remember riding the bus after school to my mom’s house, I was bringing back frosting and candy because we had built gingerbread houses that day at school. Two or three days before my oldest sister Aly graduated college. A couple hours after I got home from school my step dad at the time went to take me to my dad’s house, we rode in this big loud truck. Not knowing at the time we got there early.
It has been a tough two weeks between decorating, shopping for the holidays, and baking, I’m done and sitting in my chair enjoying my tree and watching Christmas movies. In a few days, I will be traveling for a day to pick up my granddaughters from Arizona and be back on time to spend Christmas here in North Dakota. So, after a long two weeks stressed out and I can say I am ready and relax
“Jingle, jingle.” To the sound of Santa’s sleigh bells in the distance, I awoke. I looked out the window and saw Santa Clause soaring across the country sky. My heart leaped and I ran downstairs right away. The cookies and milk I had left for Santa were eaten and there were so many presents on the floor around the tree. Then, I heard the door of my brother’s room squeak open and he, still half asleep, walked down the stairs and came and hugged me. As we were looking at the presents we both saw one with our names written on it. Together, we tore open the wrapping paper to find a small stuffed bear. We read the note we found inside stating that this was his first toy he had ever made and he wanted us, two ordinary boys to have it. After that
One Tuesday morning, I woke up, but it wasn’t like any other morning. It felt like I was floating on clouds, like I wasn’t even in reality. I got up to put on my pink zebra print footie pajamas. I started my way to the kitchen to eat breakfast, and that’s when I saw it. It was pink and red, with strawberry shortcake stickers covering it. The seat had little red strawberries on it. It was right in front of the christmas tree that was almost concealed in baby pictures and ornaments we’ve made in school. My two brothers didn’t seem to forget it was Christmas as I did, they had already opened most of their presents when I was just barely waking up. I opened all of my other presents before I went to grab my bike. The bike was the
As you know in the next few day it will be November. There are many of celebration during this month but today I will talk about thanksgivings. Thanksgiving is the time that we give our expression of gratitude to our parents, our brothers and sisters, our friends and our neighbors, especially to God. In the Bible THANKSGIVING is the giving of thanks to God for everything that we receive at his hand. We receive from him our lives and the food and drink to sustain us. Every good thing in our lives comes ultimately from God and we owe him thanks for all. As part of the worship of God, thanksgiving is offered in both song and prayer. No matter how great the country we might live in, no matter how fantastic supportive from family and friends might
I am so excited for christmas, I mean there is a special place in my heart of Thanksgiving. But that's over so I am in the hard core christmas theme. For example my family put our new christmas tree up last weekend, we got a knew one because our cats destroyed the last one, and it is awesome. My mom says it looks sad because it is skinny but I say it is just cat training 101 because they get in the tree and destroyed.
What do you have planned for St. Patrick's Day this year? Whether you're heading out on the town or staying in with your family, nothing says "kiss me, I'm Irish" like a bottle of spirits from New York's best liquor store, Martin Brothers Wine & Spirits.
Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. I love seeing the shinny Christmas lights that decorates my street and the sound of fresh fallen snow on the ground. Christmas reminds me of family, the laughter and loved we shared, and the gifts we gave to each other. My house on Christmas became the center of my joy.
I think Christmas has always been one of my favorite holidays. Maybe because of the special atmosphere that you can feel everywhere, in shops, restaurants , pubs and even streets, where you can hear the magical carols, or maybe it's because of its religious background, but what I can tell you for sure is that I can't think of anything more exciting than the image of the entire family preparing the Christmas Tree or fixing the Christmas dishes.
