For example, “Perfect” by Pink, makes people look deep within them and lets them know that they are perfect, no matter what. “Unpretty” by TLC, tells a person that looks do not decide who that person is. This song expresses how Pink went through her struggles of depression, self-harm and attempting suicide. Pink created this song because she wanted her viewers to understand what people go through. Pink also wrote this song for her then unborn child, because she wanted to let her child know, that she will accept him/her with love and compassion.
