Life Changing Experience
About one year ago I had a life changing experience, a trip to a little town called
Kerry on the outskirts of Dublin, Ireland. It was the most beautiful place that I have ever seen. Being in the presence of such beauty helped me see life from a different perspective. I was just going to be happy, appreciate what I have, be open-minded, not take anything for granted, and love everyone and everything. When I came back from
Ireland I was truly happy, nothing could make me upset. But after awhile my constant elation came to a gradual end, but I was soon to find that even though my elation ended I was going to be a happy, loving, and open-minded person forever. And there was everyday influences like

something they don’t appreciate. When I think about those movies I am really happy, because I am lucky, free, and free to seize any opportunity that comes my way. Art also reminds me of my happiness, a single piece of art work can capture a moment of emotion or feeling. Artists like Claude Monet really capture emotion well, in the painting, “The Stroll: Camille Monet”, Monet painted Camille standing in the middle of a field, it sounds simple. But Monet did such a good job that there seems to be more, there is emotion. That is what makes art special, emotion, and that I can have my own thoughts about what the artist is trying to say through their painting. In the Edward
Hopper painting, “Route 6” there is a real warm feeling coming from it. That warm feeling is one of the best emotions that I have experienced, the only other time I get that feeling is when nature is at it’s best (sunsets, sunrises, grassy fields, ect.). That brings me to the artist Liz Sexton, her paintings of nature are some of the most beautiful, natural, and unique pieces of art that I have ever seen. I think that I am on of the luckiest people in the world to be able to appreciate this artistic beauty, that in its self makes me a happy person. The most important influence in my
The world would be nothing without art. Art is another way of expressing your feelings. In Anna Deavere Smith’s excerpt From Letters to a Young Artist, she argues that to create great art, an artist needs both knowledge and empathy.
The move to High Island was the one biggest thing that transformed my life. Moving is usually a dreadful thing, but for me it
The thought of art is more than what you see it is what you feel and what you learn from looking at it. Art can heal the soul and create and new outlook on images we may see every day. Sadly, we may not always see the art in things, pieces, or, humans.
Since the beginning of time, artists have labored extensively to find innovative ways to convey sentiment, passion, and feeling. Telling stories and trying to unlock the minds of people through different avenues of artistic labors. Art touches and affects people in unique ways; it can have special or unusual meaning on the person depending on how one views it. Artists’ rendering of their art is interpreted in numerous ways by others who view it unless it is explained by the artist on its meaning giving a clear example of what they are portraying. Two people looking at the same painting, sculpture, portrait, or photo may come to different views on the arts meaning even though they are looking

Understanding the beauty in nature has always been a struggle of mine. In this world of iPhones, laptops, and television at our fingertips, one can become trapped in the black hole of becoming disconnected with nature. I have always planted a flower garden and watching each color try to outshine the other showed me the purest of joys in life; everyone has a pull inside their natural being to be one with nature. Looking at all the awesome creatures God has made for this Earth made me realize that He wants us to enjoy our time on this physical land while we can.
Art is something we use every day of our lives. It is included in almost everything. Artists express their emotions and feelings in their art work because that is an artist’s job. In order for an artist to create great art, they need knowledge and empathy to make their art work meaningful.
The taste of the bitter coffee slivering down my throat on a late summer night. The glorious sound of laughter beating off my eardrum. The sight of my beautiful best friends smiling. I just sit back and admire the wonderful and impactful people who have lived life with me for so long. I believe in finding your people.
A person’s state of mind and their emotions can be expressed in numerous ways without a word ever being spoken. In writing, a poet may share their heartbreak through verse, while a musician will spread their joy and happiness through melody. A photographer may express a moment of beauty and awe through a vibrant image, while an artist can use paint to silently convey turmoil using dark colors or shadow. Taking a more in depth look into the visual arts, it is evident that artists will often use their artwork, such as paintings, to convey an autobiographical account of different, but poignant periods in their lives. Some will paint their bare souls on to the canvas, leaving little to contemplated. Others make their loneliness and sadness subtle,

The most important trait in defining art is its beauty. As complex as the term “art” can be, the term “beauty” is nearly just as complicated. In order to understand art more clearly it is important to understand beauty. “We label an object beautiful because it promotes an internal harmony or ‘free play’ of our mental faculties; we call something ‘beautiful’ when it elicits this pleasure.” (Freeland 8). As defined above, beauty is not a direct message. It is something that subconsciously allows man to feel good and pleasurable. There is “an internal harmony” when we observe something beautiful that allows us to take away a deeper understanding of a work of art regardless of it being “nice looking” or “ugly”.
appreciated for its beauty. In the book, The Picture of Dorian Gray, art is a very strong theme
What is the only art that can be felt? Music is the answer. We can't touch music, but music touches us. It is an expression of certain aesthetic ideas through rhythm, tune and language. Music is that bridge which connects our soul-that inner self in us which is hidden from the society and even our conscious selves, to the outside world, or more specifically, to other people's souls. For this reason I have been able to devote the time and energy necessary to musical accomplishment even though money has always been tight and that’s why I need a strong financial support to reach my dreams.
