Introverts: Rosa Parks, Bill Gates, And Albert Einstein

Rosa Parks, Bill Gates, and Albert Einstein; these three people have a couple things in common. One, they are all famous, and two, when they were children, all three were classified as introverts. They were all publically known for different things yet they were all successful in what they did throughout their lives. Without introverts, this world wouldn’t be the same. All this boils down to say the quietest people are often the most powerful. In the book To Kill a Mockingbird, characters like Arthur (Boo) Radley and Atticus Finch are great examples of introverts being very powerful human beings. On the other hand Rosa Parks, Bill Gates, and Albert Einstein show us that this statement goes on and is still true in the real and modern world. One example being Albert Einstein he was an introvert yet a genius, he knew a lot, but kept it all to himself for quite a long while. According to Schocker Einstein did his best work alone. Two more examples being, Bill Gates, and Rosa Parks which were also described as introverts, but they were explained in a different way. They were often described by others as shy and timid. They weren’t loud until they absolutely needed to be. For example, when Rosa Parks had to give up her bus seat in 1955 to a white male. She didn’t exactly scream and yell, but she started a boycott to show that this sort of thing was not okay. She also states that introverts biggest challenge is to not feel like outsiders in their own culture. I think By this she means introverts in today's society have it rough. More than likely the majority feel like they don't fit in because they are soft spoken or outgoing when really they take up half of the population as extroverts so they fit in just as equally if not more, not looking at numbers of course. Introverts are the ones in a crowd who often look aggravated, sad, mad, etc. only because they feel as if they don't belong practically wherever they may be but for all they know and others around them know they could be as powerful or more powerful than the others surrounding
