Every day, communication continues to evolve and find new mediums for its transportation. With the technological advances in our global community, we have been able to revolutionize not only our lives, but our work places as well. For instance, the electronic mailing system, also known as e-mail, provides an amazing manner of transporting communication digitally in our daily personal and business-related lives. Due to this, e-mail has had two different major impacts on interpersonal communication. First, it impacts with the ability of being able to eliminate the time delay of regular mail (Nelson & Quick, 2013). Communication takes place in any and all locations, intentionally and unintentionally, and it can be positive or negative. Many of our personal traits and character qualities can affect how we communicate with other people, and how they communicate with us. Recently, I had an experience that further proved this point to me in a very real and tangible way.

Electronic mail is sent primarily through the 21st century worlds standing infrastructure of copper buried underground in most cases. “E-mail” has revolutionized the world much the telephone will change yours. My wife and I have differing opinions regarding the importance of housework. For me, a clean home constitutes feelings of peace, happiness, and a clear mind. My wife on the other hand, feels that organization and cleanliness of the home are not essential to happiness within the home, but that the moments shared within the home create happiness. These personal schemas are important to consider in the upcoming interaction, as our dog has just given birth to a litter of puppies. This afternoon I was feeling overwhelmed. My wife spent the better part of the day sleeping, after a long shift. This left me with dishes, laundry, housework, and puppies to attend to. I felt like I was bearing more of the load in our relationship
I enjoyed your post for this week. It is hard to believe this is the last week of class yet it is rewarding. I can agree with your take on schizophrenia being a difficult mental disorder. It would be very hard to live with because you don't know any different. The mind tells the person that what they see and hear are really there even though they really are not. Having people not believe you or not understand what is happening would be just as scary and frustrating. Most people who are diagnosed with this tend to become violent because they are fighting themselves and others out of frustration. I like you idea of the treatment/housing facility. I think that would be wonderful.

This is not my first time working in a team. However, I was usually working with someone who I was familiar with before the class. It was a challenge. I was totally clueless about my teammates, about their skills and characteristics. The worst thing was we had to form a group in our first day. Luckily, we got to know each other by a short introduction. By applying the knowledge of interpersonal communication skill, we started with introduce ourselves and ended with sharing the skills that we had.
