Goals and Philosophy A person's philosophy on education covers many different aspects. Such things that ones personal philosophy can contain are the purpose of education, methods one may use in education, and even the curriculum which may be taught. I feel that these three things are the most important for my personal philosophy and goals of education. The overall purpose of education is not only to teach students about the set curriculum, but also to teach them to be individuals and creative thinkers. As a teacher one has to go farther than just to teach, you are a role model, a doctor, and most importantly while still having control you are a friend. I feel education is important because as a …show more content…
They will accomplish many things, but it will never seem like a duty or a job. I would hope that as a teacher, I could teach all my students the curriculum for that year, but also for them to learn so much more. I would like my students to grow as a whole, as well as individuals by making new friends and experiencing new things. I would also hope that I could teach my students as much as I can about life, and what the world has to offer us. As a teacher, I hope to live every moment of my life knowing that along with my students, I too, have learned something. There are many different methods of sharing my knowledge with the students, and I do not think a teacher can adopt just one method. While observing, I have realized that a teacher cannot always reach every student by using just one method. Since students have different abilities, a teacher has to adopt many types of teaching methods in order to work with all students equally. As a teacher, I would look into all types of methods of teaching. In order to teach my students a well-rounded lesson, I would adopt aspects from each teaching method. Using just one method to teach students may work in some classrooms, but I believe as a teacher I would work with the students and give them some choices in how

Drawing characters, backgrounds, rims, cars, or trucks spends most of my pastime. In addition to drawing, I would also like to partake classes in Animation. Art directors earned $56,880 in 2000, and the highest 10% made more than $109,440 dollars. Artist work about 40 hours a week, but during busy periods, they work overtime to meet deadlines.
I hope that when I am a teacher that the kids will learn from me that learning can be fun and not a task. That there is so much to learn about that you should never be bored with learning. If they leave my class room knowing about that and the curriculum needed to succeed in my particular grade and subject. Than I accomplished everything that I wanted to.
I have always wanted to become a teacher. From playing school with my little sisters, to volunteering a summer camps and elementary schools, there is not better feeling, to me, than to know that I have helped someone to accomplish a goal and develop better as a person. I think that there is no better way to impact the lives of other people than to become a teacher. As a teacher, not only will be able to affect the lives of these students from day t day, but I can also make an impact on the life of each child and hopefully their family as well.

In Eliyahu Goldratt’s novel “The Goal: A Process of Ongoing Improvement”, he tells a story about a man going through hard times, in both his work life and personal life. Alex works in a manufacturing plant that is barely staying afloat, and his boss has left it up to him to keep the business running with a three-month time span to do it in. Even though “The Goal: A Process of Ongoing Improvement” is just a story, it is still very relatable to businessmen, businesswomen, and students. The three categories of constraints that are shown in the story are knowledge, material, and supplier.
Teachers should be trained and proficient in the different methods of learning. It is important that teachers implement different tactics to address the diverse learning needs of their students.
Education is important because it helps students to grow physically and mentally. The overall purpose of education is to help prepare students for what they plan to do in their lives. As Plato would state, schools should help students find their roles in society. If a student wants to attend college, that student should take courses that will prepare them for higher education. The student interested in pursuing a trade upon graduating high school should follow an educational path that will prepare them for such work.
Making a career choice can often be a tormenting decision, and many people choose a profession or line of work that may not satisfy their creative abilities, but only pays the bills. I have known, specifically since the first day I spent in kindergarten class, that my purpose is to teach, and for that knowledge I am especially fortunate. The philosophies that I support have been part of my educational beliefs and standards for the majority or my lifetime, and are qualities that, I feel, make an effective and touching teacher.
The purpose of education is to provide children with a further understanding of subjects and the world around them. Education gives children a chance to mature and develop socially and intellectually. Each and every child is unique and needs special individualized attention in the classroom in order to learn and grow. As an educator it is my ambition and main goal to help students reach their fullest potential by providing authentic experiences in the classroom. Bill Beattie said, “The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think — rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men.”
As a child, playing “school” occupied most of my time. My younger sister and I taught a bedroom full of stuffed animals and filled in imaginary names in our old school books. From the bad bears and loud bunnies to the good puppies and smart kittens, each stuffed animal possessed his or her own personality.
The purpose of education is enlightening the mind socially, morally and academically. It is also to have knowledge about the world and everything around us. Education is Knowledge. It makes us acquire skills and gives you an insight on the things you desire to know. There are many philosophies that have been established already but my philosophy of education is that every child has the ability to learn and when given the opportunity the outcome is powerful. Education is a unique and individual learning experience to each student therefore teachers should be passionate about teaching and make an impact on each of their student. In order to get through to each student, a teacher must fully understand his/her job. As a teacher, you are assigned
I think that teaching a student to have a good character is more important that reading, writing, and arithmetic. I think the greatest profession that a person will endeavor upon is that of a parent. Most of the students that go through my classroom will become parents one day, and I want them to have the character that is needed to raise a child in the right ways. I believe that character development is the greatest reward of an education. I want students to look to me as a model of a good person. I think that is the greatest reward that a teacher can achieve. The feeling of someone going out learning how to be a good person and doing it based upon my actions is priceless, and will benefit more many more than I may ever know about.
The main purpose of education is to teach students how to live in the real world and succeed. Whether they go to college, a trade school, or go straight into their job, they must learn the basics of knowledge. Students who take English will learn how to read and write which will help them communicate with others and when students take history, they learn not to repeat the mistakes of the past. I could go on and on about why each subject is important, but the reason they are required is so that they can help students achieve their goals in life.
My whole life I have always wanted to become a successful engineer, and graduate from the University of Cincinnati. Some of my goals in life are to go to the University of Cincinnati. Another one of my goals is to become some type of engineer. But as of right now I would like to be a aerospace engineer. To be honest I really don’t know what influenced me to want to become and engineer. But something about engineering always appealed to me for some reason. But lately my engineering teacher has had a positive impact on me and is really making me like engineering and the overall field. So I guess that Mr. Smith has influenced me into being an engineer. My plan b is to be an engineer too. But this type of engineering would just be easier to
