Life Goals
We all have goals we want to accomplish in life. They could be high school goals, college goals, career goals, or personal goals. In high school, I would like to graduate with a 4.0 gpa because it would affect what college I go to, which brings me to my next goal. My goal is to go to UCI because it has a great medical program that can influence my future knowledge in healthcare. I would like to start a career in healthcare because I have great interest in anatomy. Besides being a doctor or a surgeon, my personal goal would be living in Europe. Europe includes some of the best medical schools, and is also a beautiful place to live in. My goal, really, is to accomplish all these goals.
When you start planning your goals, make sure

I’ve been taking my classes very seriously and when I have needed help, I’ve asked for it. It is never too early to start making plans for college. It’s actually a good thing if you do. Planning early helps you become prepared for the future of it. My plan is to go to UCI and go into a healthcare major. I’ve decided to go to Europe for a medical school to pursue my dream of becoming a surgeon. I have so much interest in anatomy and the human body, and what I already know about healthcare is beneficial for my future. My career involves my personal goals. It involves my whole life. I want to live in Europe, at least until I finish medical school. It’s never too early or TOO LATE to find a career you want to
My goal in life is to pursue a career I will love participating in and commit to fully.
Ever since I earned my GED, I've been thinking about my and my family's future; which I know I can accomplish with my husband's support. I've come up with three long-term goals that I hope to accomplish within five years.
“Excuse me ma’am I think you need your medicine, let me listen to your heart beat,” that’s what I use to say to my dolls. I have always had a passion for caring for others. I knew I would be in the medical field. My goal when I was a child was to become a pediatrician, but my past, present, and future has had numerous unexpected ups and downs.
As far as goals, I intend on graduating from college and fulfill my aspiration of having a professional career. Growing up, my father has always worked minimum paying jobs and living for paycheck to paycheck, while my mother has always been a housewife. Whenever it came to school, my parents encouraged me to do my best in my studies.
My career goal begins with receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology on a pre-med track. I am currently three years in to receiving my degree as an undergraduate student at The Ohio State University. During the process of receiving my B.A., I will participate in internship programs pertaining to my area of study. I have currently applied for a research internship through the Ohio Department of Health, who are in high demand for pre-med students. If I am accepted to the program I will need transportation to and from the different sites. I currently do not have a car since I live on campus and will apply for a car loan through the credit union to ensure that I am able to afford a cost efficient car, which will last me well past graduation.
My goals for the next ten years, would be to get accepted to medical school and to graduate from medical school. Specifically, my top three medical schools that I would love to go to would be Oklahoma University Medical School, University of Colorado School of Medicine, and Oklahoma State Center for Health Sciences. To be honest though my top three are the places I would absolutely love to go to, I would gladly take a medical school that would accept me. Currently my plans for a specialty in medical school is endocrinology or immunology, I love the way that the body interacts with itself and how it is able to get confused and attack itself is probably my main interest in the specialty. My goals after I graduate medical school are, working in a hospital somewhere in Oklahoma, preferably in Oklahoma City or Tulsa, and work there as a resident for a time until I would be able to open up my own private practice or join a private practice and continue my health career from there. One of the things that has become increasingly interesting with me is Doctors Without Borders, which may end up being something that I would participate in after medical school during my residency or around the time that I would join a private practice.
Goals we all have them big or small, we each have something we want to accomplish, but the big question always is, how do we accomplish it. Well for me, I have goals in life daily and longer term. Daily goals would be like finish psychology paper or make it to the gym sometime today. My more long terms goals relate specifically to my college degree, such as complete college in four years, get into a good
My decision to pursue a career as a physician was not a blinding revelation, being the daughter of two immigrant parents the thought of becoming a physician seemed distant. In high school I pursued to obtain what for me was then the highest education I perceived I would be able to achieve which was going to college and obtaining a bachelor’s degree. As the quote by Ralph Ellison highlights, “When I discover who I am, I’ll be free”. This quote resonates with the start of my second year in college, as I have been able to find my passion for medicine. More specifically, I explored my values and how I wanted to shape my future. I reflected upon the encounters and dramatic effects that physicians have had with my own family. The most impactful
I have goals in my life, just as the great Odysseus had his own goals; Odysseus wanted to return home and slay all of the parasitic suitors, living off his fortune. My goals, on the other hand, are not so gory or dangerous, but it is also tiresome to achieve my altitudinous goals. I want to go to a nationally ranked college in business after I graduate, that is why I am
My educational goals for high school would be to get good grades mostly, and the reason that is one of my main goals is because with grades your acceptance rate is higher to get into a college. With a higher acceptance rate, you get more options of colleges to choose from you aren’t limited to a certain college. For my college goals, they are to get a master's in nursing. Why I want my masters in nursing is because a master gets a higher chance in being hired, because they would rather choose someone with a higher degree in that area of work. Also with a masters you have more knowledge and that is always a better thing when applying to a job.
I have been working in the medical field for six years, I am currently working I have been working in the medical office am in for four years and hoping to expand my experiences in the future. I have learn so much from Kaplan University and with these experiences I have faith that I will reach my goals in becoming successful. Just being yourself is the key and just know that when you are at that job interview give them a firm hand shake smell, and eye contact at all times and have your portfolio with your most important paper work that you will need for your job interview. Keep up the good
My short-term goals for this medical career are to first, plan my life. I need to plan what school to go to for this career. I need to have more options incase I need a backup plan. If the pediatric surgeon career doesn’t work out I need to have another job to result to. Have an organized life would be having no problems in life and having a good life and make good money by doing the job I love to do.
Every night, as I sat on the table with my younger brothers assisting them with their homework, I hear a familiar sound at the door. As she walks her heels click, and I can hear her searching her bag for her keys, the next thing I know the keys are in the lock and as it turns me and my younger brothers’ jump. We run to the door and indeed we scream in unison “Mommy’s home”, one by one she gives us a hug and a kiss. My mother asks us how our day was, and if we finished our homework, she then looks to me and said “did you cook and assist your younger ones with their homework”; I replied “yes mom”. As I warm the food, I take my mother’s purse, jacket, and shoes put them away and prepare the table for her to eat dinner. As I glance at the
I have many goals in life such as to have a good strong career and family. What is important to me is graduating Central high school and go on to UND. While at UND I plan to get my nursing degree and specialize in pediatrics and truama. I have
Everyone should have personal goals that evolve around anything that needs to be accomplished. I set goals on a daily basis. One goal that I seem to have not truly focused on has been my college education. Considering all things, I decided I needed to focus on my college education. The first thing I needed to accomplish was to enroll in an institution for higher learning. Now that my enrollment is complete, I am an official student at the University enrolled in the undergraduate program for business management. As a student at the university, I now have to set personal goals so that I will be successful in my endeavors. My personal goals are to gain personal growth and development and graduate from my undergraduate program in business
