Kids In Foster Care Being Used For Sex Trafficking Many kids in foster care are being used for sex trafficking not only in the US but all around the world. However, the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) is the most common form of human trafficking in America and runaway and homeless youth, namely foster kids, are its primary victims.

First, the foster care facilities need to determine whether or not the foster parents that want to adopt the foster kid are suitable or not. People need to realize that this is becoming a big problem everywhere around the world and the dangerous intersection between child welfare and child trafficking. It is important that reforms are made to the child warfare system such that children are protected and safe while in care. The foster care facilities people need to pay close attention to the foster parents to-be and make sure that they don’t miss anything looking too suspicious. If anything, the foster people should know right away that the transfer shouldn’t be made for that child safety.

The idea is, starting clubs and group gatherings would be extremely helpful as well since it’ll get the children to be more open and to come to terms with their situation. With this being said the groups and clubs will get the children to see that they are not alone and that there are countless of children and people in their same shoes and that they are not alone in this. Groups and clubs in schools and in various places would bring everyone together and to have them speak up.

Then, making sure that the foster kids aren’t being exploited to sex trafficking. This focus is devastating and many Americans realize how vital this problem is becoming. Every single foster care facility to this day still are becoming a supply chain to traffickers, and only a handful of the foster children or other people that have been utilized into doing sex trafficking recover from it.
