As the American dream is defined, a national ideal in which people have a lifelong goal that brings them prosperity, happiness, and or success, it starts with a plan of action that is most commonly taken after high school. For me, my American dream is to major in electrical engineering and to become an engineer at a big corporation so I can make a copious amount of money and be happy.
