Explain What A Flag Mean To Me

“Heroes represent the best of ourselves, respecting that we are human beings. A hero can be anyone from Gandhi to your classroom teacher, anyone who can show courage when faced with a problem. A hero is someone who is willing to help others in his or her best capacity.” (Ricky Martin). Being a hero can shape a community as a whole, some people can make a positive impacts but somehow the hero's might not even be recognized and be unscathed of any praise. But also some people consider others heros but do not fit in necessary . A hero is someone who influences makes a positive impact on a person or community.

Liberty, justice and humanity are the three words that this nation is built around. While representing these eternal principles, the flag of the United States of America not only symbolizes the battles faced, but also the truths this country fights to upholds even to this day.

What the United States flag means to me is freedom. Freedom of rights. Freedom of speech. But that’s not what it all really means. It means fortitude for those who lose their lives in battle. I respect the flag. What the flag means to me is that I know that there are people out there, Seals, Police force, Army, Marines, and all others fighting to keep us safe here in the U.S. The flag to me symbolises our freedom. And i respect that. How I think of the flag is the way I think of a baby. You must care for it. And also NEVER drop it. Our flag is something that should be respected more, and cared for. People should look at the flag whenever they see it, and think of the people who are in Iran and Iraq, and all over the world fighting.

What does the flag mean to none other than me? Well, I suppose at the beginning of the year before I knew what it meant, I didn’t really care about it. I didn’t see the importance and I thought it took way too long to go over during ‘family time’ in the middle. I just thought it was something made when the U.S. had began and it just sort of fell into place. Man was I wrong.

A hero to me is somebody who goes out of their way to help others for the better. There is no better definition of a hero than anyone who works for good and never turns their back on those in need.

When I think about the U.S. flag the 3 main things I think about is, Family (the most important), our military (2nd important), and my home (last important). First let’s talk about home and why I think home. I think about home because it’s important to me if we lived anywhere else we wouldn’t have as good of homes. And how lucky we are to not hear gunshots, bombs going off, and screaming outside of our house. I think about the scared kids who do have houses like that and families that are getting raided. The second most important thing I think about is the military. I am thankful that they are protecting us from other bad countries. And I’m thankful that they are risking their lives and leaving their families with the chance

What does the flag mean to you? There is many options of why someone can respect the flag, the stripes on the flag represents the 13 colonies. Here is some things that the flag means to me, honoree there were many soldiers going to war just to protect this our country they deserve our respect when a soldiers dies we put a folded flag over his or her coffin. To honor our soldiers we say the pledge of allegiance.

What I think of a hero is someone who is brave, strong, trustworthy, who can protect you, and make your life a whole lot better in so many ways. A hero to me is a person that will always be there for you no matter what, they will stick by your side, even when things get a little rough and tough, my tutu has never left my side and I know my tut will always be there for me either if I'm upset, mad, sad, or even celebrating an accomplishment.

To me, a hero is someone that makes things better for someone else. Someone who dedicates their life to changing other people’s.
