Abstract Cloud computing has quickly become a popular model where computing resources are made available on-demand to the user. The unique capabilities of cloud computing has created new opportunities for IT and businesses. Cloud computing uses the Internet for delivery of cloud storage capabilities as a service to any users. Through the use of cloud computing we can access virtually anything that we want from almost anywhere to almost any computer without worrying about anything such as management, cost, storage, etc. In this paper, we provide the reasons for the innovation of cloud computing, go over several cloud service and deployment models. It also explores the many benefits of cloud computing over the traditional service …show more content…
An Envisioning the computing utility based on the service provisioning model, where resources are readily available on demand, has led to contemporary computing paradigms that have emerged in the last decade, exploiting technological advances in networked computing environments e.g. GRID computing, peer to peer computing and more recently cloud computing . The focus of cloud computing is providing with scalable and a cheap on-demand computing infrastructure with a good quality of service levels. The process of the cloud computing involves a set of network enabled services that can be accessed in a simple and general way. Cloud computing provides with a unique value proposition for any organization to outsource their information and communication technology infrastructure. Moreover, the concept itself provides with a value proposition for an organization as using the cloud saves on cost, resources, and staff, and business opportunities for the organization (Katzan). An extensive connectivity of
Cloud computing can be viewed as one of the most rapidly growing and evolving paradigm.Webmail, online storage and online documents are most famous examples in which customers can access their data via web browsers on the internet. The original idea of the cloud computing was delivered by J.C.R Licklider in sixties (Mohamed 2009). Cloud computing has developed since then and started to server the publics after internet offered a significant bandwidth in the nineties (Mohamed 2009). Cloud computing has been through many different phases and is still rapidly evolving.
Cloud Computing provide enterprises and users with varieties of capabilities for store and process data in the data centers of third-party. It depends on resources sharing to carry out accordance and economies of scale, like a utility over a network. The basic of Cloud Computing is the extended concept of sharing services and aggregate infrastructure. It is the product of evolution and using current exponents and technologies.
The Important of Cloud Computing is increasing and it is receiving a growing attention in Scientific & Industrial Communities. Cloud computing is one of the top 10 most important technologies and has a greater possibility in successive years by companies and organizations. Cloud computing implement everywhere, favourable, on demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g. networks, servers, storage, applications and servers) that can be immediately supply and released with minimal management effort.
Cloud Computing is a new paradigm of large-scale distributed computing which is rapidly becoming one of the hottest topic among business organisations (Pallis, 2010), and represents a fundamental change in the way of Information Technology (IT) services are invented, developed, deployed, scaled, updated, maintained and paid for (Martson et al, 2011).
The overall concept of cloud computing is one which is based on a new architectural model of computer resources which means the data is stored remotely, but is provided to users as if it was stored locally. This new concept has been described as being "a style of computing where massively scalable IT-enabled capabilities are delivered 'as a service' to external customers using internet technologies" ("Will IT of the Future Have Its Feet Firmly Planted in the "Cloud"?," 2008), in a dramatic shift from traditional computing methods. Cloud computing is also able to provide services to the end user seamlessly, to serve applications from a central location, regardless of the user’s location. There are numerous services such as
The largest Buzzword in emerging trends for the computer world is “Cloud”. Cloud computing in the future for data, services and platform. The concept of cloud computing is to make whatever aspect it is being used in available at all times and to act as a resource. Turning computing into a utility will transform how the IT industry uses services, designs hardware and uses network infrastructures. The term “Cloud” however has many meanings, but understanding what exactly is meant by cloud computing is the first step to
Cloud Computing is a recently emergent paradigm whereby services, such as data, programs and hardware, are managed and delivered over the internet. These services are provided to computers and other devices on-demand, like the electricity over the grid. This model offers users not only services, but unlimited computing power, accessed from anywhere in the world via a web browser. Instead of relying on the power of a local, individual device, computing power is distributed, virtual and scalable, enabling users to access the computation, storage and other application resources on-demand. (Sun, White & Gray, 2011) According to Carl Hewitt, “Cloud Computing is a paradigm in which information is permanently stored in servers on the internet and cached temporarily on clients that include desktops, entertainment centers, table computers, notebooks, wall computers, handhelds, sensors, monitors, etc.” (Hewitt, 2008)
Cloud computing is a mixture of distributed system, utility computing and grid computing. In cloud computing, use combination of all these three in virtualized manner. Cloud computing converts desktop computing into service based computing using server cluster and huge databases at data center. Cloud computing gives innovative facility like on demand, pay per use, dynamically scalable and efficient provisioning of resources. Cloud computing the new developed technology of distributed computing systems changed the phase of entire business over internet and set a new trend.
Cloud computing is one of the biggest innovations of the 21st Century. Moving into 2014, cloud computing remains a big IT trend. It is a broad term that covers any type of computing or storage service that is delivered to users from remote servers. This mode of service has technically been in place for years, with online email services being one common example. As technology has progressed, a variety of services can now be provided from the cloud, such as file storage and the ability to run an entire program without having them installed on your computer. Cloud computing allows for pay-per-use or charge-per-use access to applications, software development and deployment environments, and computing infrastructure. Furthermore, it
Cloud Computing is one of the emerging technologies which now represent a reality and a low-cost computing power resource which has gained popularity among all business categories, especially medium and small size, governmental or medical organizations, as more people are realizing the power and benefits of cloud environments. Cloud computing involves deploying groups of remote servers and software networks that allow different kinds of data sources be uploaded for real time processing to generate computing results without the need to store processed data on the cloud. Clouds can be classified as public, private or hybrid
Cloud computing is an emerging technology these days. Cloud computing is the development of distributed , parallel ,grid computing and virtualization technologies. In this paper,we actually explore the architecture of cloud computing as well as we explore distributed , grid and utility computing. We also address the several popular cloud computing platforms. In this paper, we aim to point the risks of cloud computing. We identified several challenges from the cloud computing adoption perspective. However, the biggest concern i.e.security and privacy issues are the strongest barrier for the users to adapt into cloud computing systems. In this paper, we investigate several cloud computing platforms and its architecture and risks.
Cloud computing is considered as a type of computing services that depends on sharing resources rather than obtaining or organizing a pool of local servers or personal storage to handle applications. In cloud computing, the ‘cloud’ is referred as a metaphor for ‘the Internet’. In short cloud computing refers to Internet computing
The explanation of “cloud computing” from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) [2] is that cloud computing enables omnipresent, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. According to the explanation, cloud computing
Cloud computing is a technology which provides a computing services over the internet. The services and solutions of cloud computing is delivered to the clients through internet. Call it storage service or computing service it is all about delivering these services in real time. Cloud services allows individuals and business to use software and hardware. There are several models that service providers deliver the services to their consumers. Cloud computing service providers model is based on internet that is to say cloud computing is possible only through internet. Providing services or solutions over the internet has a huge significance because of the fact that the deployment or development is on real
