I have never consumed energy drinks before due to the negative things I have heard in the media and through my own research. I work at a grocery store and I have read the nutrition labels and ingredient list and I was shocked to see what the drinks are made of and that they are being sold and consumed in such large amounts.
I believe that banning energy drinks completely will not solve the problem. People will find ways to purchase them and this would be a time-consuming process. I think that by creating guidelines in the advertising and labeling of energy drinks to reduce the amount of energy drink-related illnesses.
