Some dogs can be allergic to soy products so it's important to make sure your dog doesn't have any allergies to the food it's being fed.

There are a variety of flavors, and most claim to be packed full of the nutrients dogs need. You can even get food that's specifically designed for older dogs, or dogs that are overweight. The most important thing to remember, when selecting dog food for your little guy or girl, is to look at the first ingredient on the label. If it's meat, not corn or soy, or by product meal, then you have a keeper.

There is nothing wrong with feeding your dog treats of real food every now and then. Meat, fruits and vegetables are not just meant for humans. Wild animals eat these things all the time.
