Having a capable someone look after your child while you're busy at work should be a priority because the two of you stand to gain much from the structure and caring environment of day care centers. Rather than hire an independent nanny it makes more sense approaching a day care center which has all the tools necessary to promote development and education.

Social skills must be developed and they sometimes are without help. But, why not facilitate the process in an ideal setting? You could hire someone to look after your child at home but there's little way of knowing whether the person is actually doing a good job. Since nannies at day care centers are monitored, the odds of your child being in safe hands is a lot higher.

A study found that children who were placed in a quality day care center transitioned more easily to elementary school and higher classes. They were also likelier to attend college and find employment. Of course, there's no guarantee that all children who attend day care will go the same route but it increases the chances which is just as beneficial. Let's also not forget the other advantages
