“Hmm... I wonder what I should get Buttercup!”, Westley thought to himself. He had many wonderful ideas, but none seemed good enough for his love. Jewelry? No. Buttercup never wears Jewelry. Chocolate? No, he’s never seen her eat candy. What about a movie? No, she never watches them. You’re probably wondering how someone could be so clueless about someone they love. It’s not that he was clueless.. but buying gifts for Buttercup was pure torture. He loved her with all his heart, but he had no idea what to get her.
Buttercup was faced with the same problem. Should she get him a new watch? No. He’s always late anyways. Some new glasses? No. That’s stupid. A new action movie? No, he’s boring anyways. Just when they both almost lost hope, they

He decided that now was the time to take action with his plan.
“Get him a berry pie.. Boys like Westley sure do love a pie! I mean.. I’m guessing boys like Westley would love a Berry pie.. I wouldn’t know since I haven’t met him.”
Miracle Max had to backtrack his story because he was scared he would blow his cover if he kept talking. Then, Buttercup would know that Westley came to see him. He couldn’t let that happen. It would be too suspicious.
Christmas morning came soon enough, and Westley and Buttercup were seated in front of the large (and overly decorated) Christmas tree.
“Are you ready to open our presents.”
“Yeah sweetie! I’ve been rea-” ding dong ding dong ding dong ding dong ding dong ding dong ding dong
The doorbell rang repeatedly and urgently.
“I’ll get it!”
Buttercup curiously opened the door, only to come face to face with Miracle Max. There he stood in the freezing, December snow. Panic was evident in his tone when he said, “Have you opened the presents? The presents from each other?”
“Uh.. No? And may I help you?”
“Do it! Do it now!”
Buttercup gave him a disapproving look as he invited himself in and sat on the couch between Westley and Buttercup’s seat. The lovely couple sighed, rolled their eyes, and looked at Miracle

I bought you a back-up-present just in case this plan failed.”
“Okay!”
Westley got down on one knee and pulled a small box out of his pocket. He pulled out an engagement ring and cheekily said, “Will you marry me?” Tears welled up in Buttercup’s eyes. “Yes! Yes, I will!” she exclaimed, happier than ever.
While they had forgotten about the pie-mishap, Miracle Max had not. He got about 2 blocks away from their house, then had a change in heart. He remembered how much trouble they went through to get each other a present, and suddenly the evil, cunning, inconsiderate side shifted into the loving, caring, Christmas-spirit-filled side of the store-owner. He then made a decision. He would return the pies.
Miracle Max stood outside the door. “How on earth do I say, ‘Hey! Sorry for stealing your Christmas presents that I tricked you into buying each other, only so I can steal them. But have no worry, because I have returned with your presents!’ No.. That is too blunt. I’ll just go with the flow.” He went to knock on the door, but he didn’t shut it all the way when he left, so it creakily shifted open. With his eyes crinkled shut, he exclaimed, “I’m sorry! I shouldn’t have stolen. It’s Christmas, for goodness sake. I had no Christmas spirit- but don’t worry- I do now!” He then opened his eyes and saw a sight he is sure to never forget. He saw Westley on one knee, sliding a ring onto Buttercup’s finger while the tears slid down her cheeks. The newly
Logan chimed in about her grandiose treehouse, and then they looked to Leo. She had nothing to say, she never had anything to say, but they looked at her with such trivial excitement! It was more than she could bare, caring about the two. But, it was too late now, she adored them, so she closed her eyes and waited for a memory to grant her something to say. Once her mind was at ease, a dollhouse came into view. It was heartfelt and handmade by her father; he presented it to her with the biggest, proudest grin on his cheeky
“Actually, Grandfather said that no one was having Christmas today.” At Sarah’s blank stare she elaborated. “Grandfather said that no one was happy and that we couldn’t have Christmas until everyone was happy and at home… including Little Sparrow.”

During Christmas time, everyone bought each other a gift. Despite his memories at his home, Josh begins to think about it as Christmas draws near. Nevertheless, Joey writes a letter to their home, to tell their
“Nope.” He said as he handed us a square box covered in yellow birthday paper. I alleged, “Why are we opening a present? It’s not Christmas or our birthdays.” Then, Jasmine tears open the parcel and there was a bright red bucket and two floaties with the colors of beach balls. As we were surrounded by family, the excitement rose as our mom handed us a flimsy book with a mysteries piece of white printer paper.
Today Liesel looked truly happy, they were crying with joy because they were together again. Liesel asked, “Max,are you okay?” She worried so much about him wondering throughout the days was okay and even the dreaded thought of him being dead. Max looked at her with reassurance and said, “Yes I’m okay Liesel. How are a you I remember the last time we saw each other.” Max looked at her with

On Friday night, the family had a special birthday party for both Carol and her 92 year old father. LaLani, Carol’s caregiver, decorated the private dining room and the Dreamweaver Foundation sent gifts for everyone. Interestingly enough, dad’s gift was a Dreamweaver Money Clip and that was exactly what he needed! As for Carol she had been wishing for months that she could have a snuggly fleece blanket but, felt that the luxury was one she couldn’t afford. Guess what her gift was, a beautiful blue Dreamweaver fleece
“Let’s set over here,” Sylvester said, pointing to a table away from the door. "You want your usual?” she asked, looking at the wizard. "Please" he said as he took his seat. “How about you guys,” she grumbled as the other sat down. “We’ll each have a cup of tea with cream and sugar on the side." Santa said as he took his

Jackson just snorted, pulling his wallet out of his back pocket and handing it to his boyfriend. “Don’t let him know how much money you have.” He reminded him. Scott fought the urge to roll his eyes before standing up from his lunch table. A sigh came from his lips, making his way to the bleachers.
Charlie is at Sam and Patrick’s house for the final secret santa gift swap. They all sit in circle and swap their gifts and reveal who was who’s secret santa. The children’s reaction to the Christmas gifts sent by their parents was overwhelming sadness. Ditching their attention to the toys themselves, Bailey and Maya felt abandoned and unwanted; their parents had made no effort prior to this to make contact with them. Maya was “confident they were both dead,” imagining her mother lying in a coffin with her hair spawn on a white pillow. She viewed this year’s festivities to be a “terrible Christmas” with its “awful presents.” She found her father vain and expectant to send a photograph of him along with the gifts. Her pain notwithstanding, she went outside by the chinaberry tree in the cold winter air, where she “sat down and cried,” Bailey pursuing her, “wiping his eyes.” The glooming silence
“Hey! Act like a knight! Here’s what happened: I was working on a regular tooth fairy day, taking kids’ teeth from all around the world. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, no other flying men in black suits mugged me and brought me to a dark room. While I was trying to figure out what had happened, they came in and dragged me into a van, and there was where everything started. They told me that Santa Claus had gone MIA during Christmas Eve, and my mission was to locate him and to bring him back. They gave me a new identity and made marry you because you had the money and power we needed to locate Santa to save Christmas. There weren’t any news until two weeks ago. There were reports of Santa being spotted here in Schneizereindeer while you were gone. That’s when you became worthless to us so I left. I’m sorry.”
“You know I’m poor. My father can’t afford to buy me things like this right now. You also know I don’t have an income, so there’s no way I can buy you anything in return. So, I can’t accept these things.”
