Introduction I decided that I would like to offer free babysitting in my home for parent(s) that needs a few hours for a job interview, doctor 's appointment or have an emergency. I have been searching around for an organization to go through, but none exist where I live. There were some you have to go to their place of work, which I understand but I have no transportation to go that far. So I decided to do this alone. I started on this assignment on week two of July. I started volunteering to babysit children from age 5 to 8 years old. I started the portion of my painting assignment this week. One week is to babysit five kids. They looked like controlled little angels. I started small in this volunteer assignment. I volunteer to babysit a couple of kids for free. Some couples don’t have money for babysitters or extended family nearby. Some school systems are so attuned to their supervisory, child-care function that they offer after school play groups at a normal fee to take care of children until a parent gets off work and can take the child home (pg. 435). What was observed during this experience? I observed a lot from this experience. When I was babysitting the children, they always wanted to be around me always following me. And one of the five kids drew me three sun’s on loose-leaf paper. I was observed while babysitting when the children and I were making cupcakes. Having the babysit these five kids most afternoons, I’ve observed that children are aggravatingly
But it is depending on children age and parent’s skill. Significant to parents how to control their negatives behavior for example making strengthen relationship between children and parent or parent’s mental health being great.
This school is a licensed childcare program and NAEYC accelerated. The center is providing child care program for children age from 2.9 to 5 years old. There is 2 preschool classroom, I did my observation in preschool classroom room no: 1 on 10/2/2017 time from 9am to 10am. There are around 13 children in the classroom. All the children’s engaged several activities like
It is difficult for researchers to isolate specific causes of child behaviour because each child’s environmental settings and values are different from one to another.
I also helped teaching them songs or rhymes, playing games, cleaning up toys and cleaning up snack time. I did not realize the fun and excitement involved helping daycare children. It made me even forget that so much goes into just helping them stay organized. In addition, I learned more for volunteering at a daycare. As much as it was important for me to make sure children remain safe as they go about their duties, I was required to know some basic first aid and CPR. I was very privileged when they opted to teach and demonstrate to me the process involved in CPR so that I could be able to assist children and staff in case of any emergency. The job as a volunteer at the daycare required listening to children, offering comfort when needed like when they were dropped off at school and they looked sad. Again, at the daycare I noticed that play time was an important aspect. I realized that playing time with children helped children share with others and also help with their feelings through developing verbal and nonverbal communication skills. As a volunteer, the staff gave me the opportunity to participate in activities with the kids such as helping them with arts and crafts, reading, writing, dancing, singing, and playing games. Play time indeed helped the children to develop confidence which brought them out of their comfort zone. I think play time at the daycare helps motor
As a teacher I work with children and I love my job. I have taught primary school children of varying ages. I like to think of myself as a dedicated and I think that dedication comes from my personality in the fact that any venture I take on I will put in my best and also the great responsibility it is to assist and develop a young person. I also don’t necessarily take a child’s behaviour at face value. If a child is acting out or not themselves there is normally something deeper going on and I will always try to find the time to talk to them to at least let them know they have someone that will listen to them if they need. I have also found that if a child has truly overstepped the mark dealing with them is always best when you are not reacting in the heat of the moment.
Other choices include, preschools and playgroups, at these establishments, parents can claim their free child care. Usually run by volunteers or part of a business, they cater for all aged under 5 yrs, on a part time basis, providing both play and early years provisions.

All children are different in their unique way. The goal of this assignment was to observe different children in an uninterrupted environment. Although all the children observed were the same age, they all acted differently during their observation. The differences in the way we react to different situations are what make us human. These differences can be explained through the theories that different psychologist have developed over the years. Some children react better to things like praise from a teacher or being able to be creative in the activities that they are participating in.
As a volunteer practitioner in a nursery my role is very important part in encouraging play, though it is important to make sure the children are involved in choosing play opportunities. All the practitioners must make a lasting impression and connection on children and be aware of their interactions. Also I must model positive behaviour at all times, it is important that I build a relationship with the children to develop their trust. My roles are as a practitioner:
According to the data from the NSCAW II wave 3 tables, children in out-of-home care were predominately cared for by relatives not receiving compensation from the child welfare system, followed by foster caregivers, and lastly by formal kin care, or relatives who receive compensation from the child welfare system (Dolan, Casanueva, Smith, and Ringeisen, 2012). Foster caregivers most likely to be between the ages of 30-49 years, slightly more likely to be black than white, have more than a high school diploma, work full-time or choose not to work, and be married. Formal kin caregivers were most likely to be between the ages of 50-59 years of age, be white, have a high school diploma, choose not to work, and also be married (Casanueva et al.,
If someone leaves their child at a park and goes to work only to work for minimum wage income. We should not charge the people for supervision, we should be glad to help out our community. Children may get into accidents even lose their lives if they are left without responsible supervision. Would you like it if you worked at a job where they payed you minimum wage and you also had a 9 or 10 year old child? Knowing that you cannot afford a babysitter, knowing that you will have to leave your child at a park close to work or even at home where they can set the house on fire? I know I would not want that. At last, I would like to state that their needs to be an organization for taking care of children, no payments involved, serves for community service. Have Teens and Adults look after children in a park for someone who cannot afford a babysitter during the summer. It is not about the money, it is about how you make an impact on your community and those around you. It is about helping those in need without the worry about money. Where the parent can drop off their child at the park where this organization could at and have the parent have full trust. It is about helping one another even if you do not know the other person you’re helping out. To me an organization like this is something that needs to be started for the people in the community. I know there will be complications with starting an organization that provides free child supervision but it is not impossible and if we all were to play a role in it then it could be something that helps out other people in the

As you may have read, I do not have any professional babysitting experience as of yet; however, I have taken multiple babysitting classes, a child development class, and I've been on call for my sisters and family friends for years. I've also attached my resume and references to this message in order to provide some more of my background. Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon.
There are 2 means through which you can know when a family has requested you to babysit their kids. These are:
I found that there are a few different child care options that are available. There are the family child care, which is families choose to have their children in a home setting. There is also a licensed family care providers that can take up to 8 children with a helper. Another option is a licensed family child care home that has providers that take care up to 16 children.
