Prioritize childcare means to make your children your priority first before anything. Making sure that your family is taking care of before anything else gets done. Maybe even have a baby sitter watch your kids while you and your spouse have a day off to go on a special date. You can also take your family on a trip for a weekend. your family that will always stay no matter what. Therefore, you should always make them number one in your life.

Through interviewing Joyce I gained insight into a strong philosophy, leadership style, and how her background experiences have created the director she is today. When deciding to become a director of a daycare, there are two options: opening and owning your own center or directing an established or corporate owned daycare. While I have done much research on owning my own daycare, I have little experience about what it would be like to be the director of an established center. Financial responsibilities and budgeting are also two aspects that are important, but the level of responsibility is drastically different in each scenario. Lastly, legal and ethical responsibilities exist in either scenario as well.

When child go through transitions they need people they have built up positive relationships with to help support them through the changes in their lives. We use circle time to explain to the children what is going to happen and they can talk about their feelings children will make a better transition if they know what is going on. More of the day went by, and it was getting chilly outside so we went in and i made Mac and Cheese for dinner because that was Ben’s Favorite food. After he ate, we sat down and watched some cartoons and ate some popcorn. After he got tired of all the cartoons he wanted to do some puzzles at the kitchen table, so i got a few puzzles out and we started doing them and we were having a blast. He is a really smart little boy so he was really good at them. Here's when i started to not want to babysit ever again. Were sitting there and he coughed and he cover his mouth with his hand while his cheeks are all puffed out and looks at me for 5 seconds and i just said “Oh no” and puke flew out all over me and it was so much puke and i almost threw up from the smell of it. So i took him to the bathroom to put him in the shower and get new clothes for the both of us and there was still some puke on the kitchen floor. So after we got all cleaned up, i went to clean it off the kitchen floor and both of the cat’s were eating the puke and so i'd pick them up and move them then they would run right back and continue licking the puke.
