Does Andrew Jackson deserve to be on the twenty dollar bill? The twenty dollar bill is one the most prestigious bills in america. Andrew Jackson who is the face of it is a controversial decision made in 1929. Does he deserve to on there. Andrew jackson does not deserve to be on the twenty dollar bill because he put the indian removal act in motion, he was a sort of a tyrant,and he killed the national bank. This act forced the Indians to relocate. This land was owned by the indians and a treaty was signed by both the U.S and the cherokee saying the land is theirs.
