After High School Goals

All throughout school, students are ask what we want to be when we grow up. Many of us know or have a pretty good idea, but others have no clue what they want to pursue as a career in life, whether it be furthering their education at a university or attending a technical school. There are other students that plan to start work right out of high school. Either way we all have a plan, and the purpose of this paper is to inform you of mine. My educational goals is to complete high school get my diploma, go to college for my bachelor degree in business. After I get my bachelors degree I plan to get my masters in business. My career goal is to open a business a year and a half after college. I want to work for a company or business, that a woman built from scratch. I want to see how she made it, and what techniques I can learn from watching her. How long it took her to get where she is today. In my future I plan to get my business off the ground, and not have to live paycheck to paycheck. I seen my mom and stepdad, and whole family do that my whole life live like that and it is not a good feeling to have or see. Them struggle to make ends meet sometimes. I want money to put back

Ever since I was young, I was exposed to a Historically Black College or University, Jackson State University. I had always went to activities and functions such as football games, summer programs, and other special events. I did not know whether I would attend a historically Black College or University (HBCU) or not at the time. I had finally decided to go to a HBCU, and I would attend Tougaloo College in the fall to further my education. I have many goals and objectives for pursing my educational experience at a historically Black College, and I plan to achieve them.

College is very different than high school. So many challenging homework and courses to participate in. That is why my three goals for my career are as follows: I want to receive my college diploma, get a better career path, and learn some new things. There are many things I have to do in order to achieve these goals. With hard work and dedication, I am ver confident I can do this.

My high school goals are simple but they mean a lot. Even though it is to make the A-team for basketball this season or working hard to have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. These goals are very important to me. It will make me stronger when I complete these goals.

Throughout the course of my high school career I have many goals I would like to pursue. One of those goals includes being accepted into both a two and a four-year college so I can hold a Bachelors degree in Science. When I do get accepted into the two and four-year colleges, I plan on working while attending school. Although this goal may be challenging, depending on my classes, I’m going to need a job to support myself. My GPA in college will maintain a 3.7. My field of study will consist of a Radiology program as well as an Ultrasound program to become a Radiology tech/Ultrasound tech. These two fields will allow me a greater chance of finding a job, plus it will supply more yearly income. After college I will be using the knowledge I gained

By the end of my senior year, my main priority, like any other senior, is to wear my cap and gown, walk across the stage, and receive my high school diploma. To accomplish this goal, I must continue excelling in school with all A’s and maintaining my diligent study skills. I also need to take as many dual enrollment courses at Clayton State University as possible in order to shorten my time in college. After graduating, the next leading goal is to get accepted into either Emory University or University of Georgia, but preferably Emory. Should Emory accept me, then I definitely need to apply to and receive scholarships like Gates Millennium and Zell Miller, for example. In addition, I desire to preserve my current rank as the salutatorian. Perhaps if I persevere more, then I could possibly graduate as the valedictorian. Goals are important to peoples everyday lives. Goals for high school, personal life, goals for your job, and goals for the future are important to our everyday lives towards the future. I’m Hailey Anderson, I’m a determined person that is not afraid to fail and then learn from it. My goals in my life is to focus on my education, improving my bowling skills, and find different ways to strengthen my short term memory loss. Goals in high school are good because you can focus on making goals, which can let you get to what you want to do in the future.

My goals after college is to come out and feel satisfied with the things I've learned and to also come out and easily find a job. I think selecting film as my program with help me achieve these goals. I've always been interested with film making and have always loved making them. Ever since I was young I would always find myself making videos or movies with friends, and I was always the one that would come up with the ideas. I feel I will have a greater chance of getting the a job if I am a graduate of North Carolina State University.

My educational goals are to get accepted into a great college, such as New Mexico State University and achieve the highest level of excellence that I am able to push myself to, just as I did within my high school years. As usual, when you ask someone about their goals it is a very simple answer such as something that can be achieved without hardships and something that is the least stressful. However, I myself strive to be better than that and know that great things are accomplished when you put forth your full effort. My goals for this year are to Graduate high school, be successful with track and field, and go to college. When I graduate high school my life would be more successful because I would be able to be off on my own and live life. After I graduate I will be able to make bigger moves and move into my own house and make my own decisions. I want my first year in high school to go very well, and in order to do that I need to set some strong goals. My goals cover my academics, sports, involvement, and social life. The academic goal I have is to get at least an "A-" in every subject, just like I did in 8th grade. Having at least a 3.6 GPA by the end of the year would be a very significant achievement for me. My future academic goals for junior high is to promote as a CJSF member and to earn a GPA of a 3.5 or above. During my two years of Washington I want to remain in the AVID program. AVID has helped me in many different ways, for example it has showed me how to keep organized, take Cornell notes, be responsible, and how to strive for my goals. After examining, history, income, and schooling, it is clear that to strive to be a lawyer would be an excellent goal after high school. Lawyers have always been very important throughout history, have very high income, and require a lot of schooling. Becoming a lawyer would be a great career to get into.
