Abortion Vs Pro Life Research Paper

A whopping fifty seven million babies are aborted each year. Fifty seven million valuable lives. The definition of abortion is the loss of a fetus before it is able to live outside of the womb. I am Pro-Life. All fetuses have the right to life and it should not be taken from them. In contrast, people who are Pro-Choice may beg to differ.

The battle for the legality of abortion is one that is highly debated and argued by pro-life and pro-choice believers. Pro-life are those who stand for the abolition of abortions; pro-choice, on the contrary, stand for its legality. Though many in both groups believe in a more blurred line of when exceptions should be made, in its entirety, they are on opposite ends of the abortion spectrum. With ever-changing moral and ethical standards, pro-choice challenges the pro-life debate with medical, sexist, and illogical arguments.

Abortion is the termination of the fetus within 28 weeks of becoming pregnant. There are two main viewpoints discussed throughout America on this topic which is pro-life or pro-choice. Pro-life is the encouragement of human life, of, the fetus, so anti-abortion. Pro-choice is a United States social political faction supporting the right that women should get to choose between aborting the child or not. Abortion is a controversial issue that countless individuals in the pro-life and pro-choice community have a powerful divergent opinion concerning the matter. Abortion is not morally ethical because it is the murder of an unborn fetus.

Abortion is a big social issue. Either being a Pro-Life or a Pro-Choice. Choosing a life or aborting the life of a baby. When the baby is inside the womb, the mother or family has the choice to either keep the baby or have an abortion. People need to know what all happens in an abortion, and if they are Pro-Life or a Pro-Choice person.

I want to do my iSearch on the political side of abortion and the Pro-Choice vs. Pro-Life movements. Even though I know where I stand, I want want to learn about both sides because I think it will benefit me in truly understanding the topic. I chose this topic because I feel strongly about the a woman’s right to choose. I think every woman should get to make their own decision when it comes to abortion, and no man should make the decision for them. I think this issue is very important because of everything going on in our country now. I hope to find out where our countries leaders stand on this issue and what the future holds for rights around abortion. I can read articles on the Planned Parenthood website and Prochoiceamerica.org. I can watch videos of politicians talk about the issue as well as women talk about the issue at protests around the world. I can read about the Roe v. Wade case as well as other cases. I can read books that are listed on studentsforlife.org, which is a site that offers credible books on both sides of the abortion issue. I can interview someone who is currently working at Planned Parenthood or I can interview my cousin who had an internship at Planned Parenthood recently.

Abortion is a sensitive topic for many people. Some feel it is wrong to do because either of their religious background or the way they were raised. Others may look at abortion it is right thing to do if you’re not ready to bring in a child into this world. Abortion can be very emotional situation for a woman.
