Courtney Lattimore Eng/210: English Composition li Wk. 5 Summative Assessment: Specific Genre Writing 2/12/2024 Dear Regency Management, I am writing this email to discuss some different aspects of work and how we can improve the working environment. I feel like there are a lot of expectations with little help that is given to the staff. I think it would really improve a lot to see the supervisors and management jump on the floor to actually see how hard and difficult the job can be when working short staff. If we show each other teamwork then we wouldn’t have so many people quit a week after they are hired. Sometimes it can get overwhelming taking care of 15 patients by yourself, and then to see management just walking around not helping, sometimes that can be very annoying. Maybe the company should start thinking about mandation when someone calls off so that the workers are not short staffed. We should also work on being a teamplayer to one another, because it has been plenty of time I’ve gone on a break and my hall partner would not answer my call light and I don't think that's fair to the patients. We should start doing rounds at the end of the shift so the person that's coming behind another co-worker can see their work and communicate with one another on what's going on. I feel like a bonus should be given if someone calls off and another peer volunteers to stay over they should be able to get paid more. Another good idea would be to do a suggestions box that way everyone can express their opinion and feel like they are being heard. I would love to hear your opinion and maybe we can put our ideas together and come to an agreement that would make everyone at the company happy. For this assignment I used my daily experience and what I actually know what is going on at the job.
