Hallams Greek.
Byron, in his English Bards, etc., speaks of classic Hallam, much renowned for Greek, referring to Hallams severe critique on Payne Knights Taste, in which were some Greek verses most mercilessly lashed. The verses, however, turned out to be a quotation from Pindar.
