Edinburgh, April 3rd, 1854). “The Isle of Palsm” (1812); “The City of the Plague” (1816); “Lights and Shadows of Scottish Life” (1822); “The Trials of Margaret Lindsay” (1823); “The Foresters” (1824); “Essay on the Life and Genius of Robert Burns” (1841); and “Recreations of Christopher North” (1842). Poems and Dramatic Works collectively in 1825. His complete Works, edited by Professor Ferrier, in 1855–8. “Life” by his daughter, Mrs. Gordon (1863).   1
