Bishop of Calcutta (b. Malpas, Cheshire, April 21st, 1783; d. 1826). Poems (1812); The Personality and Office of the Christian Comforter (1815); an edition of the works of Jeremy Taylor, and numerous essays in The Quarterly Review, besides his Newdigate prize poem, called Palestine.
