December, 1568). “Toxophilus, the Schole of Shootinge” (1544); “A Report and Discourse on the Affaires and State of Germany, and the Emperor Charles his Court during Certaine Yeares (1550–52)” (1552); “The Scholemaster” (1570); “Apologia pro Cœna Dominica contra Missam et eius Prestigias” (1577); “Epistolarum Libri Tres” (1578). English “Works” were collected 1761, with “Life” by Dr. Johnson; again edited by Dr. Giles in 1865. See also Grant’s “De Vita et Ob. Rogeri Aschami,” Hartley Coleridge’s “Northern Worthies,” and Morley’s “English Writers,” vols. viii. and ix.   1
