Tigers.
 
The car of Bacchus was drawn by tigers, and tigers are generally drawn by artists crouching at the feet of Bacchus. Solomon (Prov. xx. 1) says “Strong drink is raging” (like a tiger). In British India a tiger is called “Brother Stripes.”   1
