Pluto.
Many artists of great repute have painted this god, the three most famous being that by Jule-Romain (14921546), a pupil of Raphael, in Mantua; one by Augustin Carrache (15581601), in Modna, generally called Il Famoso; and the third by Luc Giordano (16321701), in the gallery of the Palace Riccardi. Raphael has introduced Pluto in his Assembly of the Gods.
