Medicinal Days.
 
The sixth, eighth, tenth, twelfth, sixteenth, eighteenth, etc., of a disease; so called because. according to Hippoc’rats, no “crisis” occurs on these days, and medicine may be safely administered. (See CRISIS.)   1
