disappointed (adj.), disappoint (v.), disappointment (n.)
 
 
Spell each with one s, two p’s The adjective disappointed combines with several prepositions: about, over, concerning, with, and at (She was much disappointed about [over, concerning, with, at] the outcome); in (I was particularly disappointed in him); and of (She was disappointed of her hopes). The combination with of is sometimes considered a bit old-fashioned, but it is Standard.  1
