tight (adv., adj.), tightly (adv.)

Tight is Standard as both adjective (He runs a tight ship) and flat adverb usually appearing immediately following verbs such as close, fasten, hold, shut, sleep, sit, stick, and the like (Hold tight to my hand). Tightly, the -ly adverb, can appear in adverbial positions where tight is seldom or never encountered (a tightly woven fabric, tightly to argue the case, to tightly argue the case, to argue the case tightly).  1
