hypercritical, hypocritical (adjs.)
 
 
To be hypercritical is to be “supercritical, too severely critical,” as in Her hypercritical nagging about his manners finally drove him away. To be hypocritical is “to be a hypocrite, one who pretends to virtues without justification,” as in His hypocritical imitation of deepest piety would never have fooled even the most naive missionary.  1
