| has increasingly been a pejorative word: to be aggressive usually is not admirable. But one sense of aggressive has an elevated aura: Good salespeople are aggressive and go after the business, rather than waiting for it to find and claim them. Be careful that the pejorative senses do not color an intended elevated or neutral use. | 1 |
