It is the trade, processing, and shipping center for an agricultural area with cotton, corn, pecans, cattle, and dairying. Manufactures include elevators, chemicals, polyurethane, metal containers, and computer equipment. NASAs Stennis Space Center and the Crosby Arboretum are nearby. |
