(g´k) (KEY) , river, c.300 mi (480 km) long, rising in lakes W of Lake Nipigon, W central Ont., Canada, and flowing NE to the Albany River. A dam at Waboose Rapids forms a reservoir (45 mi/72 km long), which drains to the south into Lake Nipigon.
