(l ´tä) (KEY) , Hung. Lajta, river, 112 mi (180 km) long, formed in E Austria by the confluence of the Schwarza and Pitten rivers. It flows generally east to an arm of the Danube River near Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary. It was the historic boundary between Austria and Hungary. |
