Esher and Molesey
 
 
(´shr, ml´z) (KEY) , town (1991 pop. 46,688), Surrey, SE England. It is largely a residential suburb of London with some light engineering. Wolsey’s Tower (a gatehouse), is in the district; it is the remnant of Esher Place, which was founded by William Waynflete and occupied by Cardinal Thomas Wolsey.
