NOUN: Nautical A small two-masted sailing vessel, used especially on canals in the Low Countries.
ETYMOLOGY:Dutch billander, probably from binlander, inlander, from binnenlander : binnen, within (from Middle Dutch; see en in Appendix I) + land, land; see lendh- in Appendix I.
