Mahomet

Every good act is charity. A man’s true wealth hereafter is the good that he does in this world to his fellows.  1
If any one tells you that a man has changed his character, don’t believe it.  2
If the mountain will not come to Mahomet, Mahomet will go to the mountain.  3
On the day of the resurrection, those who have indulged in ridicule will be called to the door of Paradise, and have it shut in their faces when they reach it.  4
Paradise is under the shadow of our swords.  5
Patience is the key of content.  6
Teach your children poetry; it opens the mind, lends grace to wisdom, and makes the heroic virtues hereditary.  7
Tie your camel up as best you can, and then trust it to Providence.  8
To overcome evil with good is good, to resist evil by evil is evil.  9
